    i would again say try to go for quad get 2gb ram and later on upgrade to 2 more

    if u find Q6600 in used it will be good enough if he wanna stick with lga 775 if u dont find in used then u only have q8 and q9
    core i3 u already know its not fast as Quad if going for 1156 go for i5 its better than 775 quad
    and c2d e6750 is old but its one of the most sucessfull processor but now its e8400

    what i heard DDR3 Doesnt perform well on LGA 775 as newer platform
    and i would recommend u to go for newer platform so after 2yrs u know as well Where lga 775 will be standing

    no Point spending too much on card a Avg will do just fine he wont notice much difference with expensive card i was reffering expensive card if he game as well get him good one

    Thanks...On one online site, ASUS Rampage 2 Gene costs 25k (insanity) but you mentioned 19.8k, if even it is around 23k (R3G) then I want to buy...I am unable to find 3*1 GB RAMs..

    then u dont have any choice in get him c2d with 4gb ram then dont go for Expensive card 9500gt would be enuff
