    yeah its adsl just checked, called them and they said that they've put in a request to change it to vdsl transformed instead of adsl transformed with a new router etc. but isn't less snr margin bad?

    So I called 1218, they informed me that its a port issue or something and that they'll get it restarted by the local linesman in 24hrs after I told them the attenuation and everything. Thanks for the help hopefully they'll get it done by tomorrow!

    Hey I did the speedtest and it came back 3.8mbps or something. Not quite near 12. And my downstream was 4096 with my upstream being 1024. So it seems that they haven't upgraded yet and lied (again). My attainable rate was around 27k for downstream though..
