the p55ga is a good psu, 80+ and all so yeah im quite sure you can easily run the 5850 and the gso with your specs on it.
if you absolutely have to go SLI, get it. at 6.5k its good value for money for a board that does full 16x-16x SLI on both lanes. plus youll have unlinked overclocking on the nforce chip. however if you do get it keep your mobo temps in check since these nvidia chips run hot.
yeah it will easily run. whats the power consumption on a 9600gso on load btw? with just a single 5850 your consumption shouldnt exceed 350w with those specs and with a gso im guessing it will be around 400 which is well within the limits.

If those are 800MHz rams then yes, a good price definitely.
1. 2.25 vram is quite a lot. dont feed so much volage to the rams it could be dangerous.
2. in the first case youve hit a 1000MHz on the ram which is probably the max the ram can do.
3. however in both the cases youve probably hit the FSB wall, youll be able to clock your proc further on a better mobo.
4. i havent used crucial RAM myself but the Ballistix is quite highly rated internationally.

Hmm looks like youve hit the FSB wall. Its either because of your processor or most probably because if your mobo. Because the Wolfdales are able to hit 4.0 easily on good chipsets like the P35/45/43. I suggest you dont meddle with voltages if youre unfamiliar with them. However a tip: if youve hit the FSB wall, increasing the vcore will help you get beyond 344.
I think its most probably that 667 RAM thats holding you back.
Your RAMs are running at 667 at stock since the 2 sticks run at the speed of the slower one. Youve OC'ed them from 667 to 860. Which means the 800 RAM is running only 60MHz over spec'ed speed but the 667 is running almost 200 over spec'ed speed. Which is quite a big jump for value RAM. If youre familiar with increasing vRam and your mobo allows you to do so, try increasing it and pushing the system even further. Otherwise try getting a hold of another 800MHz module and check.
