Yet, people continue to gladly pay these companies to run online services even though there is always a chance of your account being subject to a hack. Lol no consistency in the arguments here.

People live with it and continue to target other platforms to drive their own agendas.

Dont care about the fanboys and there little agendas. Developers know where the money is continue to support cross play in all these games. With PC games given option of increased FOVs, choice of input medium, improved framerates and such.

PC is the go to medium for thosands of streamers over the internet. PC gamers can play games as diverse as CSGo to Halo Wars and Gears on their PC.

PS4 lol is home to some free to play Fortnite or Call of Duty games which are also big on PC. Your target audience to compare is XBOX live.

We can cross play in Street Fighter 5 adn Tekken 7 with PS4 and play Killer Instinct on Xbox live. MMO and Mobas are missing on consoles.

Amazon just launched their new game on Steam. Ever heard of Valorant (yes developers laucnh biggest games on PC) ?? Ever heard of behemoths like League of Legends or Dota 2?

If you are a multiplayer gamer, you know where the action is.

You can count such genres on your fingertips, namely some MMOs and MOBAs. A lot of strategy games have also started making their way to consoles.

Yeah, it's a free to play game. I mentioned in my last post that free to play multiplayer games find success on PC. And despite taking drastic measures such as installing a rootkit onto their users' PCs and putting them at an even bigger risk, Riot Games wasn't able to prevent cheating in the game lol.

I agree about Nintendo's poor infrastructure, but lol @ sharing some random dude's reddit story about their PSN account getting hacked. PSN's refund policy is bad, but that doesn't really have anything to do with the topic at hand. And this person may not have 2FA enabled, so it's likely their own fault.

And an even bigger lol @ sharing a story from 2011. That was one incident almost a decade ago, during the PS3 era. PSN launched in a much much better state with the PS4.

Good luck coming up with an instance of 77 million people getting banned for cheating. Shouldn't be an issue for the OP as his thread making history rarely misses an opportunity to raise this "concern" :hah:

Ironically, the OP has uploaded videos of Gears of War 5 MP on PC with no instance of "rampant" cheating. One would think if the issue is as prevalent as he is desperate to prove, he'd hardly have a time playing a match without encountering a cheater :hah:

I'm not doubting the person's PSN account was hacked, but it was likely due to a weak password or someone they knew who gained access to the account. Also, due to them probably not enabling 2FA.

As for a reddit post giving an example of "one of my friends" who was affected by hackers, I believe there is enough visual evidence available on the internet to conclude that the issue exists in GTAV. The increase in concern on Reddit and other forums was merely used as a correlation with the game going free. And based on how things are with free to play games, it's fair to say that it does lead to an increase in the hacker problem, because, well, the game is free. Pretty easy to setup a bunch of new EGS account during the promotion and use cheats without the risk of really losing anything.

There are a few FPS and fighting games on PS4. Mainly Call of Duty and the similar lot. Rest I dont see Playstation as a viable multiplayer platform.

And Titanfall 2 was a ghost town on PS4 too before it was offered as PSN free game of the month. Nothing too special since the fun unique multiplayer games are so limited on the platform. As Cliffy just said earlier that it was a mistake releasing Lawbreakers on PS4.

No good racing games. I guess the best one you have is Gran Turismo Sport (ban if you hit the other car lol). Driveclub is not even sold on the store anymore. Abysmal.

No card games like Runeterra, Gwent, Heartstone. What do you have. I am open to suggestions.

Yes on PC you have everything there is available. And with such huge numbers come more challenges for your infrastructure. But I have not heard MS, Epic , Blizzard and Valve cry like these ameture devs. You man up and come up with good anti cheat measures.

You're wasting your time. The person crying foul the most doesn't have any intention of playing mp on PC in the first place. You don't think he'd be posting videos of encountering cheaters in every game he played on PC if it ever happened? Controller vs mouse/kb is the reason people are driven away from playing on PC. Other is having friends who don't play on PC either. They've never encountered cheaters themselves and statistically speaking they likely won't as well.

You're talking about the biggest multiplayer FPS out there, and that has the biggest user base on PS4 by far. That's enough to tell you it is the most viable platform for multiplayer shooters for a lot of people.

Titanfall 2 has also been available on EA Access on PC. Didn't seem to help one bit there.

This I can agree with. There isn't a great lineup of racing games on the PS4. GT Sport wasn't great and neither was Driveclub.

I don't play card games so can't really make a suggestion, but have a look at some of the card game bundles on PSN maybe. Thronebreaker and Slay the Spire are also on PS4 btw.

You don't simply compare the player base of a free to play game with one that costs $60 lol. Revenue obviously factors into it.

Even the revenue chart is not exactly in Call of Doody's favor. Not only does it count ALL games ever released (ones that no one plays now lol), the 2019 revenue is based on two games.

@iampasha dude that is so not true. im happy with my console collection coz that is WHERE the games come. pc is for multiplats only and for resolution freaks. thats IT. moba rpgs etc i dont care and for the few that i care are on the consoles or the switch.

as far as valorant goes its coming to consoles soon as well don't worry but i don't have any interest in it

Consoles are sadly all about Fifa and Call of Duty. On top of that Sony does not have any investment as far as multiplayer domain is concerned. Call of Duty Warzone is free, Titanfall 2 was free, Black ops 3 is free, Battlefield 1 was also offered free.

I am sorry but Sony platform is not a place to be if you are into multiplayer gaming.
