I picked up Guild Wars 2 a few months ago and BOY I am in love with this game!
One thing I do miss Is Pakistani fellows to have fun with. It's a great MMO and I encourage all of you to try, after all It's only $9.99 (~1000 PKR) for the time being. And it's every bit worth it.

If you have any questions about the game, feel free to ask I will reply everyone.

AND the best thing about this MMO is that you don't have to pay monthly fees. It's buy once play forever!

Add me up :) JDK.3840 finally another pakistani players, been playing for 2 years now 2 legendary weapons are ready :D but gonna use all of t6 mats on new legendary s instead of these old

Mawdrey sure was hell for me to make :p GL with it, i mostly come online when server resets but taking break from gw2 for now was hoping to comeback after new expansion but i might just play now. :>

I am like 66% done with Mawdrey. It is sure very grindy :p but we are playing MMOs. Add me on steam we can find when each other is online, you'r steam profile link is not working.

I've been playing GW2 since when it was launched.

Stopped playing it for a year since i got back on to WOW and now back again on GW2 for a few weeks.

Why back for just few weeks? I mean what will you accomplish or want to do for such a short time in GW2

Also did you play on official WoW servers and subbed for real money or some cracked servers which are F2P? What you hate about WoW and what you hate about GW2?

Oh lol, let me rephrase that, i've been back on GW for a few weeks now and still going on.

As for WOW, yeah i play WoW retail.

I keep on shifting between games is all.

Cant keep myself hooked onto one thing for a long time hence the back and forth.

Well I subbed for WoW and the early game questing was so brain dead and boring I could have Puked if I continued. That was a HUGE turn-off for me. So I didn't even bothered. I liked MMO's because of the feel of progression etc. Runescape was high-school love :p
And then recently as I was reading my daily game news and saw GW2 was on sale, and i saw some reviews read about it. And I fell in love. It's so good that they made it so radically different in many aspects. Love the character leveling, and NO Quest required me reading walls of texts, talking to specific NPC's and it was Godsend!

Please give me your GW2 ID so I can add you.

WoW is on a whole other level, there's just no comparison to it.

That is precisely why it boats such a humongous user base.

Though some decline in popularity was seen back in cata days however turn around came back with the current expansion.

Old users coming back to the game and new ones being reeled in too.

I'll have to check what my id is though, dont remember it for now.

It might be whole another level at the "End-Game". No wonder Blizzard is selling Level boosters for $90 themselves to make you max-level instantly. Because there's where WoW is good at.

This is just sad, progressing and enjoying as you discover the game and level your first character used to be almost a mesmerizing experience for me and many. That's why I hated WoW and that's why I love Guild Wars 2.

Indeed blizz is selling level boosters, in the end its your choice whether you want one or not :p

Its always the end game content you're going to be stuck at eventually which needs to be phenomenal imo.

Otherwise you'll just lost interest and go away.

Blizz is doing exactly that i suppose. They've completely detracted themselves from the original lore of the game and god knows where its headed to.

I'd be more of a fan for WoW for the fact there your hero can do so much more is you're comparing it what a hero can do in GW2.

Skills come and go depending on your weapon of choice. I dont find that fun at all.

In any case, lets not make this thread a GW2 vs WoW thing :p

It'll just needlessly go on for ever and ever and ever lol.

Haha yes, I have no intention of making it A vs B thread :) Was just stating my 2 cents that Blizz shat on early game so much which I love as much as I love end-game high-level content.

But do you know that Hang Gliding is coming to GW2??? :O

Yeah i've seen the trailer for Maguuma.

Dont know the exact details on how its going to be like.

Not to mention is the expansion is going to be a separate purchase or we get to get it for free :D

It's like a New Area with Vertical dimension also, like Dry Top. Have you been in Dry Top?

Also it would be one time purchase and then you unlock it for your account, or else you are playing normal GW2.

ALso exciting thing for new expansion is Precursor Crafting, instead of getting luck you can finally toil hard and slowly craft your precursor :D and then Legendary!!!

ALso there's a new PvP mode if you are into that. And new masteries system, that you can slowly gain points in to unlock new something something.
