I don't think A levels or O level marks matter. Its just a matter to be eligible for taking Lcat .
Yar they haven't exposed it at all. How can we make a random guess ? Btw can you let me know that up till when the non F.A (aid) candidates are expected to get letters ?
I can't say about lums but that what the guys in nust,fast,uet,etc are doing. Call and ask them. btw, what grades did you got in a'levels?
Bro please don't compare uet,or nust with lums. These are two different worlds . Btw I'm having 72% marks in fsc pre eng. From Gc.
Merit is kinda high! Atleast, 80% marks in Fsc are required. Forget lums, apply elsewhere.
Allah khair kare ga I.A !!! Btw way there tens of my fieneds having around 75 % marks and sitting in Lums . The thing that matter is Lcat and matric/olevel. I'm having 85% marks in matric. Plus high school matters .
Was your lcat written or it was taken on computer? If it was on computer then forget it nigga!
It was paper based. Btw I didn't understand the difference in your mind between computer and paper based ? Could you please elaborate it ?
Checking of written papers is time consuming as examiner has to check each and every paper so they would take time in making the result while on the other hand, computer paper can be checked by software and the result is out after a day so that's why i said if it was computer paper then forget it. Btw, have you asked them about the result? I think they are not accepting more students. P.S. Why lums entry test is at the threshold of the year? Ain't that too early?
Still I can't get your theory . Man, marks are gonna be the same either checked by computer or paper. The questions you have attempted correct will remain correct . Won't they ? Yeah Lcat is taken at the start of the year . Its their policy . What can we say .

Lcat test is also checked by computers because it is MCQ test (except for the essay). The first list for non FA has been released yet, i think gradually more students will get their acceptances! And even after that there is a chance for students on the waiting list!

Rolling basis means offering admissions as applications are sorted and filtered rather than announcing admission offers on a single date. Basically, all admission applications are sorted into groups (batches) on the basis of merit and offers are sent out in decreasing order of merit.
E.g: If 1000 applications are received and the actual vacancy is 250 seats. The would be 4 batches made by admission committee each containing 250 candidates (divided into groups on basis of merit). Then admission offers would be given to batch with highest merit with a short fee deadline. If all 250 candidates accept offers no offers would be further handed to candidates from remaining three batches. Otherwise the process would repeat with subsequent batches.

As far as I know, on a vacancy of 250 seats as many as 350 admission letters are issued each year. For admission in LUMS, LCAT result is most important factor, I think they have a particular threshold to filter out candidates on the basis of LCAT (although they don't disclose this) then second most important is O Level grades (for certain courses O level has equal importance to LCAT e.g Bsc Accounting & Finance as people tend to have similar LCAT scores) and lastly A level grades.
The biology section (as i had heard) was pretty straightforward so this means that a large percentage of the Medical Students who give the SSE test do get in .
Since these ppl have no interest in research oriented Biology (Courses) they usually do drop out and more vacancies open up.
Secondly, many of the first 200~250 students who receive an offer in the first batch already have admission offers from Universities abroad so they naturally prefer them over LUMS SSE. As a result even more vacancies open up.
Thirdly, since the fees is Rs. 2.6 Million , many of those who do receive the offer in the first batch, they reject it due to financial constraints . Consequently , some more vacancies open up.
