Y other members are not playing their part?

Since i joined PG i observed that a lot of people r joining it but none of them playing their role in psting new threads.Some guys r doing a lot of hard work and other r just visting and reading the news.So my point is how can we aruge these guys to do something for PG?

well we can't force them to post, inferno already has a message on the top asking new memebers/guests to join PG and post i don't think there's anything more we can do.

Well most people just like to read and go on without posting what they think about it. I think we should introduce more polls or maybe we can introduce something like "Games-Basket". In "Game-Basket" they can select the games they are most interested in. Through this we can also judge which game has a higher demand than the other.

well there's no point in forcing members to post, when they like a certain topic enough, they'll probably post.

I, too, post only in the topics that i find interesting, so those members who havn't posted so far probably havn't found something very interested yet... lets see....

Well we are not forcing them to post. Its just a way to get them involved in the PG setup.

Members who want to skim through the website without posting should have enough privilege to do so. On the contarary, the ones who feel comfortable enough to post should contribute a bit more in my opinion.

its not a job genius , theres no part. we talk about gaming and the end. lurkers are most welcome. hey , thats how i began ! lurked around for a week before i signed up

First of all, the active members rate is fine according to my experience..in most of the communities the average active members rate (members who post/participate) is like 100 or lil bit more per 800 to 1000+ members.

Right now our member base is very low..which is increasing and I am sure in the future as our members base grows we will see more active members.

I haven't seen any community yet where the active members rate is above 60% (infact 60% is very tight), also we can't force members to post, if they feel like posting then they will do it..else they will not! there is nothing we can do much about it..other then providing more information and interesting discussion topics.

@Desolator: What you exactly mean by GamesBasket? are you talking about something like games collection list/tacked games? kinda thing? is so then this feature is already included on the PG site, and working fine..but I haven't made it visible yet..cause I am testing it

its probably cuz the "exam season" has started and i feel that im being less active than i was before on this site...cuz i only get about half hour free in which i have to visit other sites as well...so you see..my tests are going on and i'll get rid of em at june the latest..then it'll be PG all day long!!!

so far working fine..but off-course in order to add the games in your collection and wishlist..you need to select a game form PG games database!

Visit >> Games DB >> slect a game >> either add it in your wishlist or collection list..and it will appear on your games list page here:

Guys look i donot wana put u in a rush.Which i saw i posted it so donot take it on minds.PG is growing and Inshallah it will be the No1 gaming site of the country.I think while we are discussing this the other members are reading it too and so they will do somwthing positive in the future.
