You answered it yourself btw. Unwanted performance issue? To you maybe. Latency and FPS might not be that big of an issue, but again, to you perhaps. You'll play 30 fps (or should I say less xD) over a 60fps with a lil micro-stuttering. You've been painting objectivity over a more or less subjective matter all along. What's wrong if I do it too

I mean, we need to draw a line when it's a design choice and when it's just really bad. If I suddenly decide to put female faces on men's muscular bodies and put men's faces on a body with boobs and say "Well it's a design choice" or "It's fantasy, so anything goes", shit doesn't work.
That being said, the game is certainly designed with a really really specific audience in mind i.e. Weebs. So yeah to the general/serious populace it's shit. Normal people don't want Cat-ears, wing-ears, Nyan-Nyan and Flap-Flap, etc. The moment I set my eyes on this game I knew it's gonna be cringe and nonsense fanservice before it was even released and guess what It really is.
This shit is bad to the point it feels repulsive. I'm not against nudity or boobs or whatever. Put what you want. But if it's gonna distract the player from the overall atmosphere and mood then no thanks. Witcher's a fine example. It had nudity and more. But I didn't feel it affected the general tone of the game at all. It just felt like a side content to me. You could skip scenes as well.
Why can't we employ that kind of tactic with anime based games? Why are you so hell bent on making a game similar to a cringy fanservicy anime that are being released now a days instead of more mature ones in the past?

Micro-stutter isn't a concern. It's a reality. It's not subjective, as it is measurable and demonstrable. How much one is affected by it can be considered subjective, but even that speaks more about an individual's level of tolerance rather than the issue itself.
