Lolzzz I think with gamepass there's no need for Xbox live gold unless you've heavily spended in the games library and own all or most of the games on offer even then first party exclusives on day 1 is still a big plus

Consoles sell at launch, especially when the competitor is globally supply constrained. 3 months into launch doesn't say anything about how hardware sales will fare in the long run. It doesn't help that no actual sales figures were announced. What does "moved the most devices in an Xbox launch month" even mean? Did the Xbox One have better sales in its 2nd month from launch? Questions we'll never know answers to. Looking forward to Sony announcing actual sales figures.

Also:

Previous numbers (launched in June 2017):

April, 2020 = 10 million
September, 2020 = 15 million
January, 2021 = 18 million
I'm seeing a steady decline in Game Pass growth.

This guy alone has bought 3 broken Xbox Series X's.

>One turned out fine when it was mentioned as broken.
>The other one had a faulty power supply and repairing it is a nightmare with all the epoxy adhesive on every component and it's hard to source replacement parts.
> The third one is an interesting one, one component ( Likely a MOSFET, common known issue with these components going bad on Xbox One consoles) emitted smoke everytime it was powered on, Totally destroyed one of the mainboard, multiple layers likely shorted and damaged beyond repair.

They don't say there is a chance.

Most likely games already releasing this year and Game Pass getting more Bethesda games.

Good to see Vince made a video about this for the noobs who didn't believe it lol. Running a 30fps or 60fps game at 120Hz output improves input latency. Such a shame that the PS5 currently doesn't support 120Hz output at a system level whereas the Series X does since day 1. Sony really needs to get its act together, because the PS5 OS is worse than the Xbox OS in pretty much every way except for video/screenshot capture.

Oh shit.. is it really that bad ? Just curious to know how so bcoz it does look very snappy and refreshing.... Ps4's OS for me was the perfect example of a simple and elegant OS for any console and I absolutely despise the Xbox OS in terms of not just the aesthetics but overall performance as well.

As someone going from the PS4's minimalist but to-the-point to Xbox's Windows 10 Tablet mode style OS, I much prefer the simplistic nature of the PS4 OS, but I guess for people who had been in the Xbox eco system, it was a familiar environment for them so easier to get into.

I find it baffling that the Xbox OS doesn't have standard apps for things like photos and videos, you have to navigate through various hidden menus to be able to see what pictures you've captured. The PS4 OS had a simple photos app you can do all that in from the home page.

Completely agree about the PS4 OS. It was simple, snappy, easy to navigate, and all essential options were available at the touch of a button. Storage management was also fine.

With the PS5 OS, it's simply a case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Changes were made for the sake of making changes, and some of them just don't make sense.

- storage management is atrocious. The "Other" folder on my PS5 occupies 130gb of storage space, so that's around 530-550gb of actual usable space depending on what games you have installed. There's no way to access or clear this folder.
- options that were available at the touch of a button on PS4 are now accessible on PS5 after navigating through a series of menus.
- the PS Store is integrated into the UI interface. On paper, this sounds like a great thing, but the implementation leaves much to be desired.
- activity cards are kind of pointless, at least for me.
- no system level option to supersample games running at a higher resolution than what your display supports.
- no system level option to output at 120Hz on displays that support them.
- can't have more than one download running simultaneously.
- game tiles are limited to 6 or 7. The rest of your installed games have to be accessed from the 'Game Library' folder.
- weird occasional bugs, like the highlighted game playing music from another installed game lol.

It's not bad on the whole, but it does take a few steps back from where the PS4 OS is at. There are some notable improvements too, such as the overhauled capture/share functionality.

What is peoples obsession with Battle Royale genre. 6 minutes to find a match, 3 minutes to setup a match, 2 minutes to land, 10 minutes for scavanging maybe 2 3 gunfigts and its over. Multiplayer landscape is looking absolute dogshit.
I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.

After I watched it, I never felt like i watched a show. It was a friggin journey. I got way too attached to Thorfinn and seeing him grow up and find himself and get rid of all the negativity inside of him was just pure bliss.

With how great cod warzone has translated onto mobile. Mainstream Consoles have lost its value even further. Maybe console gaming was associated with TVs and how TV is not the primary source of media consumption anymore, consoles will lose its 200 million core audiences even further.
