Thats okay. They arent market leaders, no one expects them to go first. And Series X price still hasnt been revealed directly from MS even though its unofficially 'confirmed' at this point.

But theres no reason why Sony should be on the back foot.
At least Necro acknowledges Sony is the industry leader. 🙌

Neither company is officially ready to reveal the prices for their flagships right now, that will happen in due time too.

This is probably a bit faster than Xbox one x right?
A bit? No. It has same processor, SSD and GPU architecture as the Series X, but clocks/GPU cores/RAM will be reduced to lower the price. That makes it significantly faster than One X.

XBSS is really a great deal for someone into the MS ecosystem. I can see the XBSS and Game Pass combo working really well. That gives MS a shot at good hardware sales as well.

I like the price for the Series X, i think 500 is pretty good & it would put Sony under pressure!

However, the Series S looks horrible! Looks n specs-wise. I guess the 'S' in Series 'S' stands for an ol' school Speaker, lol.

PS5 at 450 - 479$, disc-less @ 350$!!! Let's go Sony.

Sony is going to loose a lot on the disc-less version, that's for certain.

Isnt PS5 SSD suppose to be higher specced? Doesnt bode well for its prices.
No it doesn't, but at least they have the option of using commercially available drives. These proprietary 'cards' will always sell at a higher price than what you can find similar spec commercial drives for. BB/Amazon are selling NVME/PCIE 4 drives for $175~ or so.

The series S is a really attractive deal though. It promises 1440p at up to 120 fps which is REALLY good for a console this price. I mean sure not every game will have 120 fps, but we can still expect 60fps standard and 1440p is a treat to the eye.

Depends on the complete specs. This ones $220 as well

Either way don't expect differences enough to make PS5 SSD affordable or anything. Welcome to the nvme ssd era. Most people will sooner or later have to buy these.
