just wanted to know that is xbox one supported in pakistan for multiplayer ?. can we buy 12 months membership ? if yes then which country is the best to choose while making an account ?.

Usa account is best. U can then buy 12 months direct via credit card deal ( usd 60 for 12 months) or u can buy usa deals offered by pakgamers which is way cheap ( around 4 k)

I have 8mbps ptcl conntion. My ping on speed test is 35-45. Never had any problems. Been playing cod aw since release date and cod ghosts before that with no problems at all on line

So no issues at all as long as you select the region to US when creating an X-Live account?
My purpose for going to Live is just to download free game DLC. I'm on a 4 Mbps PTCL connection, which I suppose is good enough for downloads as well as MP gaming.

If someone could post a step-by-step process for registering and connecting to Live, that would be fantastic.

I would probably want to get Live Gold to experience MP at some point - how does that work? I buy it here, and someone sends me a prepaid X-Live card or a code or something? Curious.

Has anyone of you successfully downloaded X-One game DLC? Say, the free game DLC available for FH2, COD AW/Ghosts or FM5?

I have a UK Xbox Live account and a 2Mbps PTCL connection. I always play online on Xbox Live and it's amazing. Sometimes it lags on a couple games due to the slower connection but games that I love like Fifa, Battlefield, etc work like a charm. Titanfall does lag a bit due to the distance from servers, maybe.

@dockash but i have 4mbps connect i dont know its performance well i have tested ps3 multiplayer, bf3 and mw2 worked great with minimum lag. but i have no idea about xbox live. you are playing on xbox one right ?. Xbox is region free. So there's no Pal/NTSC crap anymore. You can create Xbox Live from either UK/US and it will work on any Xbox the same.

No, that's not exactly what you think it is. So actually my friend had a UK Xbox Live account which he found a bit expensive so he migrated to US account and all his games were transferred. You can read it on the official Microsoft page about what stuff will be transferred to your new region.

As you create an account from your PC while going to MS's website, correct? Or is this something you select from the X-One's dash? Or both?!

There you go again with Region thing. Bro, there are no regions on Xbox one games. All games, I repeat ALL GAMES are region free.
