MULTI X360 or PS3

Hey there fellas i finally decided to get the next gen gaming console i haven't played a game in 2 years i thought i was all over that,so the title says all which one should i go for mind you that ill be playing on HDTV i now know that the graphics on both 360 n ps3 are pretty much the same but which one looks better on HDTV.What are the current price's of em both and is bluray available here in pakistan if so how much is it!

i played 360 on my 22 inch lcd monitor and it looks better than hdtv .... if u want superb quality u do have to go for samsung DLP tv...SD tv is not recommended u cant read any text on it!!! looks blur

Masters if you have been away from gaming for the last couple of years then there is a chance that you might not know about RROD problem of X360. Kindly do some research on it because if I tell you about it I may get another warning

mate it all depends on what you can afford to play.

IMO the 360's life is now over with no more Great games coming. but it still plays pirated games so thats an upside...! The PS3 will owns 2008+ so awesome games coming but 3-5k per game.

it all comes down to what you can afford to play i guess.

Xbox 360

PROS - Pirated Games ... 100rs per game

CONS - 3RROD error. The Xbox360 is prone to overheat and have a major hardware failure, not always repairable. The new Falcon edition are less prone to this error but there is a good chance it happens, especially if you play for a long time.

PS3

PROS - Reliable so dont have to worry ... You can properly run Linux (YellowHat) on it. Its fully supported and compatiable so it can be used as a PC ... Hard Disk can be changed with anything you buy from the market, no special HardDisk like X360

CONS - NO PIRATED GAMES! You will have to buy games for 4000rs. You can exchange them for 500-1500 later on.

This alone justifies that u shuld buy a 360!!
Chances of RROD r very low in Falcons if u keep it well ventilated it wont give RROD anytime soon

360 is a great console only if u have warranty if not its nothin and not worth buying (waste of money)

The only thing not going PS3's way is the unit price of games.
If you can pay 3500-4000Rs per game, then getting a PS3 is a no brainer.

if ur not that rich go for 360
as simple as that.

and also if ur into online gaming then u will have to pay to get a membership on xbox live and u will most probably get banned eventually but if u get a ps3 u wont get banned and can play online games for FREE!!
