Wrath of Lich King Date Narrowed Down

According to Vivendi, they are planning to launch the new expansion pack somewhere near the end of the this year. According to the news

According to a report on World of Warcraft fan site WOW Insider, "anonymous sources" claimed the game had entered the alpha-testing stage, with "various players...being invited to check it out, under a strict [nondisclosure agreement]."


Today, speculation yielded to confirmation. As part of its quarterly earnings report, Vivendi SA, the French multinational that owns Blizzard Entertainment, officially announced that Wrath of the Lich King "is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2008." Given that the first WOW expansion, The Burning Crusade, sold 2.4 million copies in just 24 hours, the add-on has the potential to dominate the PC gaming market during the holiday quarter.

Well this isnt a release date but atleast we know it will be released this year.

The same connection as its now a days normal around 512 will be enuf.

according blizzard you just need 6kb/s download and 2kb/s upload to enjoy wow "this was pre-tbc"

speed is not relative to bandwidth

to enjoy wow as a DPS class you can do anywhere between 50-1000ms.
To play as a healer you need 50-600ms
and as a tank you need 30-400ms

to check what your ping is

speedtest to Paris, France as thats where the servers are.

i already have a lv 64 Lock (Blood Elf, Felguard/Destro build)

Will start again after frickin' exams

P.S I play on the american servers so i get from 300-400 lag (on 512k)
and i'e done PvP and Dungeons smoothly (1)

i wanna buy that game and play on private servers but thats the problem ...private servers thats why i dont play cause i know im not gonna get the full package.
