@Zasmain Raiku is the best mage on retail couz everything on retail works as intended, as far as mages are concerned i am with hasanj here.. they are freakin OP a decent player can kill any mele class provide he knows 30% of mage class,

Can i please have a link of your character's armory link showing atleast 2k Arena rating at retail .
Reading your post just confirms more and more you are a pver and ofcourse your experience of retail doesnt proves you know every aspect of pvp .
If No armory then surely i am wasting my time discussing with a retail pver . And wont discuss a bit about pvp anymore
You played at Private servers as well imo . Dont make the private server player feel that bad you were or maybe still one of them .

Being the highest represented Direct Damage Caster in Arena this Season, Frost Mage is statistically the easiest to break 2k Ratings with

Discussing the following? The following are the absurd claims or lack of explanation U a "PvPer" are failing to deliver

Claiming Mages are not OP even though they are the most represented Caster
Claiming Warriors are good in Arena even though they have 1% representation

Posting Random "Facts" from PServers
Seriously? I mean Seriously? Oh look on some Random Server the Top Comp is Priest/Druid that obviously means Mages are not Overpowered

Fail to answer WHY Blizzard "Gutted" the Frost Mage in MoP
I mean if Frost Mage is not OP then why the hell are they loosing almost all of their Novas?

A very interesting point

Level 70 PvP in TBC or Patch 2.4.3 was very different from Level 70 PvP today in Patch 4.3 as the Talents and Abilities were first over hauled for Wrath of the Lich King with Patch 3.0 and then for Cataclysm with Patch 4.0

An invalid comparison
a Shaman in TBC at level 70 didnot have Thunderstorm or Lava Burst or Fulmination
Similarly Warlocks in TBC at Level 70 had the infamous SL/SL Spec no longer possible in Cataclysm
Ret Paladins were useless at Level 70 in TBC but are formidable at Level 70 in Cataclysm

And Best of all Mages at Level 70 in TBC did not have Fingers of Frost
