This looks more like NIOH itself than Sekiro imo. I hope I am wrong though. Mechanically, Nioh is a good game but the action becomes stale after a little while owing to the mediocre world, story and enemy designs.

Same here, Nioh had good mechanics (minus the lack of jump), but gameplay was repetitive and the level design garbage imo

The demo is straight up busted on xbox, crashes to desktop as soon as you start the demo portion. Tutorial works fine.

Tried the demo on the PS5.

At its core it is NIOH. Same weighless, floaty/twitchy mechanics which I hate. The spirit gauge and the deflect stuff is straight out of sekiro.

Fans of Nioh would love it, as a fan of Sekiro I didnt like it enough, so I wont be buying it.

For new comers, game is definitely not easy, but if you have mastered Sekiro, than its kinda straight forward.

Sekiro however is a much more enjoyable experience compared to this, imo.
