Wish to buy Android TV box for TCL Android TV

Assalamualaikum,

I had bought TCL 50" C716 QLED TV some time ago but it has its own customized 32 bit Android 9 OS and it's own customized Play Store which have few apps. Also it has only 2 GB ram so apps run very slow both downloaded from Play Store or from other sites and sideloaded. So I have decided to buy an Android TV box which has at least 4 GB ram and is not so restrictive. One option I think might be suitable for me could be Dany's 4 GB 32GB version. I don't know which Android TV boxes are successful, reliable in Pakistan. Can you guys help me decide which Android TV box should I buy. Kindly help me. Best regards.

No android box has native support for netflix or youtube and mostly are powered by amlogic processors that are no powerhouse, I have had many android boxes all are crap and now only use android version on my TCL p8 for youtube and netflix mostly,

Of ALL the TV boxes I've bought and used, nothing beats an Apple TV 4K, but it IS quite expensive. Among the Android TV boxes, the best one is Tanix TX6S 4GB RAM version, it has the official Android TV OS and the official Netflix and YouTube apps made for Android TV so it works great with remote, other TV boxes have the phone os and you will have to use air mouse cursor movements. It has Android 10.0, a 5 Ghz WiFi band as well along with 2.4 Ghz and a LAN port. Beware, don't buy the non-S version which is old and slow, buy the TX6S and it should have TANIX on the Android box, there are other names in market as well.

Used mi box. It had netflix and youtube app pre built and worked fine.

Mi Box is great but official apps are built in to TCL android aswell so using a box is useless.
