I feel on leash after using Windows Phone 8, the smoothness is unparalleled but there is little customization allowed

Guys, I wanna ask which one is better Htc windows phone 8x or Nokia Lumia 920, and why.? Need real suggestions...!
In my opinion, 920 is better.

Nokia exclusive apps
Better design, if you ask me
Slightly bigger screen
Better camera
Has a 32 GB version. 8X maximizes at 16
Bigger battery

With Windows Phone you'll need all the space you can. One year on my iPhone 4S with 90 apps and games, 300 songs and 400 pics and videos, I had 5GB free space left from 16GB. Here on L920 I have like 10-12 apps, no videos or photos, same 300 songs and I'm down to 23.5GB from 32.

So if I integrate my facebook to people's hub, is there a way to remove it from the hub when I feel like removing it? Also is it possible install apps on Sd card? I think 8GB of internal memory is gonna run out on my 620.

Why buy a windows phone over android @Lord Ammar

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
I don't see myself going back to Android. It's either Windows Phone, depending on how it evolves, or back to iOS.

As for Android, well what's to buy? Here's what I want in an Android: beautiful design with stock Android UI. My only choice there is a Nexus 4 which has one of the most boring designs I've ever seen, and to top that it's built by LG. Secondly the app quality on Android is just not good at all. Even the 3rd party FaceBook app on Windows Phone 8 has less lag than the official app on Android.

The app quality on WP8 isn't all that great either. But it's because most apps aren't properly updated for WP8 yet. We'll see how that goes. The apps that are updated for WP8 are fantastic.

But why buy now when there is not much apps/games available
more over not much customization don't you think won't I be feeling like jailed in a block
I think will get bore by it soon
I do agree on androids apps and mostly free apps sux slows down the device as well in compare to paid apps

And there is no Google apps for windows like Google maps for latitude / Google earth/drive ,instagram
Heard this about gmail as well

Gmail might soon not work on Windows Phone, either. A report from earlier this month claims that Google is removing support for Microsoft's Exchange Activesync protocol from 30 January, which means that devices will not be able to use Exchange Activesync protocol with Gmail. What's more, Google is unlikely to build a dedicated Gmail app for Windows Phone, as it has revealed that it doesn't plan to develop Windows 8 apps.
there might be some other as we'll which I don't know
So I was thinking isn't it bit to early to switch to it one will get frustrated if he found no apps for his tasks

And are those live tiles are battery drainer ?

There is an excellent third party Google maps + latitude app. Don't really care about Google Earth or Drive.
As for customization, well it offers more of that compared to iOS. But I don't want Android level of customization either. Android, with all its customization, will never look as good as Windows Phone 8.
You don't need a dedicated Gmail app. The built in one is just fine. And Google has delayed its program of removing support of EAS until Microsoft implements Cal and CardDAV.
And let's see how it goes in terms of frustration :p

Dropping exchange support only means you won't get push notifications for Gmail. That will effect the iPhone too.
Otherwise with Cal and Card DAV you'll get your contacts and calendar from Google just fine.
