I won't be surprised if it ends up much better when the final version is released, much like the Windows 7 Open Beta. Though I'm almost certain I'll stick to Win 7 for now.

There's very little reason to switch to windows 8 unless you have a Tablet PC or laptop. I just don't see that UI working well with a mouse/keyboard

Well not exactly, they had this thing planned since last year.

I haven't even learned my way around Windows 7 yet.

Almost all offices, workplaces I've been to, seen haven't made a complete shift to Windows 7 yet. They mostly still operate on XP.

Too soon I say for the next windows.

7 is awesome, yes, too soon for a new MS OS

I have been trying to install the windows 8 on my PC...But it wont let me select the HDD..
My C drive is only 64 GB and dont have enough space for win 8...But it wont let me change to D drive....

i tried windows 8 and delete it with in one day.lots of bugs and new UI is not good for mouse . they also remove start button and hide my computer and control panel with in explorer. i dont feel any speed difference. its same as windows7

performance is good , butt if want to open an app i need to press start button then Green page will open then click on app then app is open pretty like Cell OS .WIN 8 will flop for PC & good for tablet !
