With a wink and a nod, it sold me a poorly constructed piece of hardware that consistently failed me. The Xbox 360 feels cobbled together. It breaks down and leaves me with a pile of unplayable games for weeks at a time. It's clunky and inelegant. It's Microsoft Windows all over again. And it makes me feel like a fool for relying on it

i can relate to this point, the first time i bought an xbox 360 , i was like ok i cant get rrod, i just shelled out like 30k (and 30 k for an fsc student is like a car), but in 6 months it gave me rrod, then i got it fixed for another huge sum of money, not only was i devastated, every time i turned it on for the next 2 weeks that it ran i kept thinking it was gonna fail me again and it did. and believe me when i tell you this , to game in fear is not to game at all, coz i was looking at the 360 half the time and not the screen


but as time passed by (and my pocket money increased) i realized that i had been playing the sony console for a long time and it hadnt failed me once (my ps is still running), and it wasnt sonys mistake that the ps3 wasnt being hacked, i was the one who was being cheap, i had abandoned my loyalty and looked else where for cheap thrills, ok make that expensive thrills, i had gone out in the marked and bought the cheapest thing that could satisfy my lust (thats how prostitutes work btw) anyways like all the things that come cheap it ends soon, very soon.


so i bought a ps3 , even though i have only 4 games after 6 months, even thoug i can buy more, i dont feel the need to, i have played like 3 betas for more than 300 hours, i played 450 hours of sf4 with my brother and cousins, i played like 40 hours of killzone and being the rpg fan that i am im gonna unlock everything on the ffxiii just like i did with the rest of them.


no i know the bots wont agree with me, but like i said the only reason they support xbox is that its cheap,( which is not necessarly a bad thing considering the ecnonomy) , and i believe no matter what they say about the ps3 now if it gets cracked they will all come running back( again thats how prostitutes work), for they know like me , that natal is there just to add the wii demographic to the 360, and thats about it for the next year so long as the 360's future is concerned

Well, I don't think the "Ferrari in a Buick" comment is that justified to be honest. Yes, you could say it's like putting a Ferrari engine in one of Nissan's high performance cars, that would be more accurate.

But sure; even in Pakistan, if you have a PS3, you're deemed to be a hardcore gamer! It's just one of those preconceptions.

Oh, and I bought my PS3 after my X360 died. I agree with the article there, and it still baffles me that a clunky, dumb piece of hardware can still sell bajillions of unit....... even though I did love the clunky, dumb piece of hardware when I was playing Oblivion and Halo3 on it

well completely ignoring the fact that pretty much everyone who bought an xbox 360 on this forum, was for playing cheap pirated games, including the admins and supermods (who all you effectively just called prostitutes )

this IGN editor is certainly a strange fellow .. the first page is all a futile explanation how the very concept of Final Fantasy XIII 360 should not work, and even on the second page he briefly mentions in 3 lines that "oh yeah there's all these other big games like uncharted and god of war too .. maybe those are worth it too ?" then carries on his ramble about the 360 as a whole.
