Hello! I am very passionate about Video Game Development but unfortunately there are no institutes teaching about Video Games in Pakistan. And I am also a poor lad. My mom earns a very little amount. She teaches in a school. I can't afford going USA for studies. Anyways I have found an institute which teaches short term courses! It's Aptech! It offers many short term courses. I want experts to tell me that which courses will be perfect for Android Video Game Development. Here's the list:

Note: I know nothing about game development at the moment. But still I am a Hardcore Gamer! And always modding games to make them as realistic as possible by Graphical and Physical means.

You have already told me that sir. But i met the chairman of administration of Aptech! He said that Aptech ACCP Prime Diploma is very useful! He even said that a student completed ACCP Prime with great marks even before completing Metric and he got job offer from Mindstorm studios!

Bro job mlna na mlna is all on your skills. Koe kyn kahega ke don't come to my institution, go on the net and save money. Grow up a little. In the end the decision is yours. Imo, you can learn far more by just absorbing what's on the internet.

Again don't depend on others. There's a ton of info on the net. Start by understanding the game development process. What side you want to work on Animation, Modeling, Level designing, Engine Programming blah blah blah, there's lots of stuff. Start by understanding what these areas are and what has to be done. Then select an area or two and start diving in. Search for online tutorials regarding that area.

For example if you chose modeling/animation start practicing 3ds Max/ Maya/Zbrush. If you chose level designing download game engines and design levels on them. If you chose engine programming start learning programming and then dive in OpenGL and other low level stuff. Read books etc.

At this point I would say go for a technical studies first with a CS degree. It's true you can learn a lot from online yourself but degree itself has worth and opens up many career opportunities 'JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A DEGREE'

Start practicing game programming through small project and developing small demos. Dont go to much deep into the 3D modelling and animation. I would say avoid that for now and focus on technical part.

Search what skills companies ask for in a game programmer and improve yourself in those areas. Start working on a portfolio now and it doesnt need to be a complete game. Just write small modules and improve them later.
