I really don't think this is a fault of PG.

Let's admit it. PakGamers feels like going down because everyone has been made so busy in their lives that they barely get time for anything else. I can re-count each day of last 5-7 years on my fingers and jog my memory for some good stuff ... and it doesn't mean I have a good memory. It just means that TIME FLIES. And in my case, it has flied a bit too quickly.

Anyway, just like [MENTION=882]LeGenD123[/MENTION] has mentioned, i'd agree with every single point of his.

There is some sh*t that i really want to do before i die. Catching up with Assassins Creed for example (Still have to play Black Flag ) or playing Mass Effect 3 (which i still haven't, after all these years) ... or the recent Wolfenstein, which is like, the most amazing thing i have ever played. Personally, i am missing some crucial things to play games on. But i still get to play 'some' from time to time. Today, if i get a laptop of my choice ... i'd spam the sh*zzness out of this forum with new game reviews, discussions and stuff lol. But in last 2 years, i have hardly played a HANDFUL of games. So there's that as well.

Back to the forum feels like in decline because ain't no body got time to play video games. People got sh*t to do :fp1:

It's not 'dying' per se. It's just not active as before, and it is as everyone said. People don't have the time anymore, and whatever little time they do get, they spend it playing games. And it's not just PG, most forums are just becoming inactive in general. Guess it's a time thing though I don't believe forums will die anytime soon. Secondly, while we, the 'older' members are getting older, that's fine, the problem is the newer generation people aren't filling in. They're all about shitty mobile games and Fortnites and PUBGs and endless scrollers.

I, too, visit almost everyday so PG is not forgotten. I think most people just visit, lurk and leave.

Haha yeah, I just graduated from SEECS-NUST in 2017, and Deso is the new Head of Department of Computing there, which is unbelievably cool. I'd have wished he was the head when I was still studying there, it sure would have made playing Dota between classes actually possible because the internet there was extremely bad , though they're remedying it now with this new plan where students log-in to this smart-WiFi with their official credentials. Yeah, he requested that Godot drawing many years ago when PG was very active, thought it'd be a nice congratulatory gift. Deso's also the Master's thesis advisor of my (only) co-worker at NUST which is how I got the drawing sent to him.

Talk about a small world.

I guess another problem is that PG is not that mobile-friendly (using it on tap-a-talk is not user friendly). Married people with jobs barely get time to switch on their laptops or pcs on weekdays but all of us always have smartphones with us. I guess if we could have a dedicated mobile app for PG than it would help gain attention of senior users again and even gain more new users because most of the new generation access internet on mobiles.

But then it would require a lot of effort to build a dedicated app.
