Hah! That's kinda funny!

But, would've been funnier if it were actually true.

For starters, Einstein would have been a complete dumb-ass if he had actually said that "cold is the absence of heat". Things are "hot" because there is a lot of atomic movement going on in that particular object. They're "cold" when there's lesser of that movement. So, there basically is not "hot" or "cold"; just more or less movement on the atomic level.

Plus, here i quote Einstein himself about his religious beliefs:

"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal god and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it."
It's good to know.

I'm afraid but can I ask from where these atomic movements come from?? The atoms need energy to move. If there is no energy, there would be no movement on atoms. Its the energy in the form of heat energy that gives them movement ... or in other words, you can say, movements dont cause heat; heat causes movements... ^_^

.........oh brother!

- Einstein wasn't KICKED OUT of Germany; he RENOUNCED his German Citizenship for a Swiss one so he wouldn't have to join the German army. And he did this when he was 17, in 1896, 43 years before WW2.

- He was BORN Jewish; but did not believe in conventional religions. Doesn't anyone read anything I post?

Here's another quote by Einstein about his religious beliefs:

"I have repeatedly said that in my opinion the idea of a personal God is a childlike one. You may call me an agnostic, but I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from the fetters of religious indoctrination received in youth."
Meaning; he doesn't believe in any religion, is an agnostic, and is not an atheist.

- The whole answer thing is a fake! Einstein never said that!

- Here's something about the "heat and cold" cold thing I wrote about earlier:

The Universe is made up of matter and energy. Matter is made up of atoms and molecules (groupings of atoms) and energy causes the atoms and molecules to always be in motion - either bumping into each other or vibrating back and forth. The motion of atoms and molecules creates a form of energy called heat or thermal energy which is present in all matter. Even in the coldest voids of space, matter still has a very small but still measurable amount of heat energy.
Therefor, there is no such thing as "absence of heat"!

The ad shown was probably made by some Evangelical American priest; I'll do some research on it.
