ASAK, My website is based on godaddy ( Deluxe Shared Hosting Plan) and now i want to upgrade because the website keeps showing 503 error due to resource limit
The problem is i cant upgrade to a dedicated plan for 1 year because they don't allow to upgrade unless you upgrade for 2 years straight.

So now i am planning to migrate the site to another Durable Hosting... but i don't know any good hosting services

My website has average 100k visitors Monthly

i have no idea about hostings so kindly guide me whats the difference between Dedicated, Web and vps hosting and which one suits my website keeping in mind that my budget is limited.

i need to host on hosting that can handle my visitors to be exact i am looking for a hosting like geo.tv, arynews.tv and tribune.com.pk etc their website never goes down.

The reason their website never goes down is because they have devs on their team taking care of it 24/7. I've used a lot of managed hosting plans and almost none of them have been any good, though your mileage may vary. Though I would say to move away from shared hosting altogether. Cloud VPS hosting would be a great next step, Digital Ocean, Linode and AWS are all great platforms, though I personally use Digital Ocean. Prices are pretty good as well and they are durable.

Though the thing to note is if you plan on going AWS, Digital Ocean etc route, you'd need to setup the server by yourself. Scalability is a non-issue and since its a VPS you're always guaranteed the full system resources you are paying for. So yeah, if you are up for it, go with that route you'll have much more control and you can setup caching and CDNs to decrease load times significantly.

Thanks For Replying I really appreciated your suggestion and i am planning to move onto digital ocean since i don't know much about VPS because i have been using cpanel for a long time... so please help me with few more questions.
i tried to google but can't seem to find appropriate answers.

1. Does vps have cpanel?
2. CMS installation is auto or i have to do it from scratch?
3. Can i migrate my website from godaddy to Digital Ocean? with the database.
3. Which plan do you recommend i am considering standard droplet (20$/ month) and whats the deal with 0.030$/hr?
4. can it handle 80-90k monthly visitors (i am expecting more in future)
5. never tried out Vps so is there any demo or pics of the control panel?
6. Though the thing to note is if you plan on going AWS, Digital Ocean etc route, you'd need to setup the server by yourself. Can you kindly explain.
7. Transfer (4TB) is it bandwidth?
8. can i tryout the plan for 1 month only? unlike godaddy where you have to pay for atleast a year or two.

1. No, its barebones so you'll need to SSH in and setup the webserver. Digital Ocean does provide one-click install for LEMP stack or LAMP stack
2. Depends, some Digital Ocean does provide some auto-installed CMS like WordPress, Ghost & Discourse
3. If you are on Wordpress then it should be fairly starightforward but if not you might need to export your database and setup everything on Digital Ocean
4. I think the $10 plan should be enough for you, don't forget to cache your website and if possible use CDNs
5. You can easily check on youtube a quick start guide for Digital Ocean and how to navigate its control panel. But even for new users it user friendly.
6. So if you go to Digital Ocean, even if you choose a one-click app install. You still need to SSH into the server and set it up. There's no cPanel, although if you want it managed look into serverpilot. They can directly deploy to Digital Ocean
7. Its your transfer limit. Pretty adequate
8. Yeah, you can try it for 1 month easily and cancel it if you don't like it

Try hetzner they have a very nice interface to restart you server from VPS onwards.
You can also auktion a server there.
