Basically, I'll be creating a thread, titled 'LETS WATCH' something.
What would we be doing is we'll a watch 'X' Anime at the same time, and then discuss on the thread I'll create. It would provoke discussions, and make this place lively again.


But, which anime? I'll let you guys decide. I'll select some random anime in the poll, whichever gets more votes will obviously win, and will be watched. Poll will last a day or 2.

You can vote for multiple anime also.

I'll choose short anime, so that people aren't turn off by a large no. of episodes.

The anime will be watched this weekend, if it's suitable for you guys. If not, you guys suggest a date.

I recently finished Samurai Champloo so I'm just going to vote for it. Seriously everyone's missing out on a real gem if you've not watched yet. I'll jot down some quick impressions for the sake of arguing in favour:

+ Samurais
+ One of the all-time (start-to-end) greatest OSTs
+ Classic vibes
+ Characters have great chemistry
+ Just really fun

More importantly, as I've sorta discussed this before but anime around early to mids 2000s were special in their own way and this anime is a shining example of that. I loved Cowboy Bebop (same director) but I would not really compare these two cause they're just great in their own time and space.

And I'll again emphasize the soundtrack is just one of a kind. Probably the best all round pieces. Here's a teaser.

I've already seen Samurai Champloo, so don't really need a retread of it. Great show, but I need something new. I've been eyeing Merakucity Actors for a while wouldn't mind watching that with ya'll.

This sounds much better, much more doable with the crammed routine we all have. Been away from the anime scene for a long while now but I'm in for this.

Plus, I've only seen two animes from the list i.e Samurai Champloo and Air Gear. Wouldn't mind rewatching them again. If any other anime gets selected, that would be a bonus.
