This is a section which contains useful tutorials and tools for game tools that can be useful for gameprogrammers just pm me or let me know by any means!

(This section is constantly updated as i know about some new stuff)

3D Engines:

Irrlicht
Opensource 3d engine for c++. It is very easy to use and has a massive community behind it, it also has its own 3d editor irrEdit, and built-in support for irrKlang sound engine.

Ogre
The best opensource, free engine out there. Supports all the latest techniques and has a very good community behind it. The only problem is you need to have a good concept of OOP programming in c++ and a good understanding of basic c++.

Crystal Space
A powerful opensource 3d engine for c++ with ease of use.

Panda 3d
A powerful engine for c++ with a very active community.

NemoX
A powerful 3d engine for visual basic.

Revolution3d
Another very powerful 3d engine for visual basic.

Physics Engines:

ODE
A very powerful opensource 3d engine for c++.

Newton
A powerful physics engine with lots of nice features.

Tokamak
A nice opensource physics engine with lots of features.

Bullet
A very nice physics engine with commercial support for ps3.

PhysX
A commercial quality physics engine with a free for commercial use license. The best free physics engine available.

Sound Engines:

OpenAL
A very good sound engine for 3d and 2d sound, only problem is that it is somewhat difficult to use.

Audiere

A very good and very easy to use sound engine but only for 2d sound.

IrrKlang
A very easy to use 3d sound engine.

Networking Engines:

ENet
A very robust and compact, free and opensource networking engine.

Tools:

Code-blocks
An opensource cross platform IDE with a lot of cool features.

Visual Studio
A really good IDE created by microsoft, for windows only. Its free to download.

Crystal Space Tutorials
A website devoted to tutorials for crystal space engine.

PlanetSourceCode

A huge database of code to download from for several different languages.

Thanks this year i ma tkaing a programming course andi t teaches me c and c++!!!!soi ma soo happy i learn it at school i oculd make a game for my final so rapchik i may need a hand!

Thanks, forgot about adding a link to visual studio, i still prefer codeblocks firstly cause it works better on lower end pcs too and secondly i feel it better to produce cross platform apps then visual studio! But then again i dont think i have ever seen a debugger better than that of visual studio.

And thanks ahmadka, just remembered i forgot to add a link to nehe's tutorials.

ur welcome :).........nehe's tutorials were loooong, but understandable, if you had the patience to read all of them :)
