Well Since getting the Acer x34 Predator gaming has been glorious and to make it even better i decided to get the GTX 1080 so i could hit the 100hz limit on my panel so here goes..

well, every good price. I can see you didn't go with AMP Extreme edition, it was tri fan. of course you saved up huge cash. So How's the cooling and temperatures with dual Fan?

Yeah thought about the Amp Extreme Edition but i read online that it was 2.5 slot card as well as 13 odd inches long so i wasn't sure it would fit in my case (carbide 240) now i thank god that i didn't buy it because this card the Amp was a really tight fit in the casing the card itself fits fine its the 8pin power connectors that's the problem they stick a couple of centimeter outside the case so i kinda had to jam the card in to make the side panel close.

Also this can overclock beyond Amp Extreme clocks no no need to spend more money when you can do it yourself, custom fan curve FTW !

Cooling is great the fans don't spin at all on idle which is great no noise while browsing and stuff. While playing DOOM i was getting temps in the range of 76C-81C on Vulkan engine with Ultra Preset at 3440x1440 resolution was getting full 100FPS. Even on full load was very quite compared to my 980ti which admittedly i could heard in the background humming continuously


Will post some in game shots with Msi Afterburner stats tonight for you.
