[Unboxing] Sony MDR 1000X/B -- The Wireless King?

Shifting over to wireless is something I never thought I'd do, especially because my ATH M50x are serving me so well, but I kind of caved in mainly because these are so bloody good, and bought ordered these 10 days ago. Finally received them, and I'm pretty happy with my purchase. Now they can't hold a candle against M50x when used with a wire, but their ANC is out of the world, and they sound amazing too.

Thanks a lot. He did post a review a few days back, they're still finding their way to the mainstream after dethroning Bose QC35, so it's going to take some time.

Which headphones performs better with wire? Ath m50x or Mdr 1000x ? As far as reviews are concerned, they pick ath m50x to be the best.
Secondly Mdr 1000x is good at low/mid/high bass levels in wireless mode ?
Lastly Mdr 1000x perform better in wireless mode or wired mode?

1)ATH M50x are certainly better when used with wire, however, only if they have a good source. If I connect them with my phone (S8+), they'll give an almost identical performance to the MDR 1000x with wire, however, when connected to the PC, the story is a bit different.

2)MDR 1000x has a very balanced, natural sound with a little bit of warmth, they sound amazing in wireless mode thanks to the LDAC Sony's implemented.

3) MDR 1000x are definitely better in wireless mode, there's no doubt about that. It's not just the convenience level, there's just better dynamic range.

Please can you tell me how is the Bass (low/mid/high) of MDR 1000x in wired mode and wireless mode ?

MDR 1000x doesn't have an emphasis on the bass, it's almost flat when it comes to frequency, meaning that highs, mids, and lows are really good. As for the M50x, I went with the standard edition, and got them for 15,000.
