I am about to buy a PS4. Should I buy a 500 GB model or 1 TB? I would like to save money if I can. And I don't plan on playing many games simultaneously.

500gb is enough !!
Buy asian region 3 costing 38k-40k

Moreover its a laptop hard . In future if you need to upgrade you may upgrade to even 2tb

But again you will not bee needing that much capacity

I had a UK PS PLUS membership of a year which expired couple of weeks ago... Obviously the games that i bought free from PS PLUS are not working now...Can someone let me know if I renew my membership, will I be able to play them again ?

This question goes for VITA, PS3 and PS4 as I have 1 membership across all 3 platforms.

i wanted to ask, how do I play music, movies on the Media Player app? can i use .srt subtitles with .mp4 or .mkv videos?
i formatted my usb drive to FAT32 but my PS4 won't show any media on it
do i have to make directories?

I found the way to play music, videos and pictures through USB on FAT32 file system
but I can't copy files bigger than 4 GB
should I try exFAT file system?

Salam guys,

Need your suggestions and feedback as I am planning to buy PS(3 or 4) for my cousins.

Situation/circumstances as follows,
1- They have almost no experience of console gaming
2- I need to buy two separate consoles
3- PS3 vs PS4 as price wise almost two ps3 can be bought in a price o PS4.
4- How long(years) is expected that PS3 will be receiving new game releases.
5- Can a subscription to PSN plus be made with a single account and linked to both consoles so that both consoles get the online game-play and offered titles form PSN at same time.
6- What is the significance of PS4 model CUHXXX ?
7- What model to look for in PS3?
8- Mainly the games of interest are COD, Battlefield, Need for speed and Fifa. I think these titles are not console specific i.e. xbox or ps

[MENTION=20983]ovaisaijaz[/MENTION] i'd recommend getting a ps3 since it has a huge library of games and with the hack scene in it, you would really enjoy it or anyone else if they didn't own a ps3 before... u can easily go by 2 or so years with the big amount of games on it... after that think about getting a ps4 when its further reduced in price...

if u still want to get a ps4, get the latest model cuh 1200 series because its more energy efficient and they have changed some physical appearance and slots for it and so far they say it won't get the blue light of death and so on issues with the original 1000 series got at launch.

It turned out that Ps4 can be purchased with warranty that is claimed inside Pakistan but again the price difference is holding me back. Region 3 Ps4 can be purchased at 35k avg and Ps4 reg 2 with warranty is for 42k avg. Now how bad is BLOD for ps4 and is paying extra 7k for warranty is worth. Also I used to own Asian Ps3 and X and O is not a big deal.

Honestly get the region 2 one because i own a region 2 ps4 and i have had no problems with it. However i would recommend you to buy a region 2 ps4 without warranty because its cheaper and you really dont need a gurrantee.

Wassup guys! I wanted to know what will be the price of my ps4 would be. My ps4 is region 2, with 2 controllers, with box and sealed guides. With the following games Minecraft, Fifa 16, and Gta V.

You're already shelling out 38k for a console.
And unlike PC, the hardwares in that dont come in individual warranties.
So in the end, its your choice.

I will prefer warranty.
Although if you can take care of the console better, then i doubt it'll have any issues any sooner.

And that is, shutting it down safely before loadsheddings, and keeping it in a well ventilated place to keep it cool.

Ok bro I went to buy myself ps4 but all of the shopkeepers are now telling me different story. They're all telling me to go for Region 3 as it's the one mostly used in Pakistan and there is no quality difference of any kind other than X and O difference. Also as for corruption of data and not joining the party is usually not shutting the console properly, bad connection of the isp and router port forwarding not the console itself as you can even make any region psn on any region ps4 (Do you and your freind have same internet providers). I was myself going for Region 2 but now decided to make little more survey on the net.

Faiz Electronics Jinnah Super also told me that now Region 2 can be a refurnished console, and I even checked the net and it seems like a company named gamestop as well as Amazon are indeed selling refurnished consoles in the market. Almost all the shopkeepers are telling me to go for Region 3 as it's now 34k on all the shops while Region 2 is still for 38k. Faiz and Kiran electronics seems like good shops while Kiren now has Rawalpindi shop at sixth road which is very close to my house in comparison to Jinnah Super. I recommend not to go for Plugnplay as he's nothing but a looter.

I also asked about the warranty and only Faiz offer me an year warranty on the lens but I seems not to trust him as no others shops were giving me one locally (You can claim international with shipping costs) as while ago one of the shopkeeper whom I bought some products gave me all the assurance to change items if anything is faulty, and when one item indeed came out faulty the shopkeeper acted like he don't even know me but I had the receipt and he was forced to change the item. Don't know if I can trust Faiz electronics.
