I had some queries regarding the application to become an Uber Partner.
One of the documents that they want me to upload is an Acknowledgment Form and I have no idea where to get it from.
And secondly, is Character Certificate to be obtained from a police station?

Would love to hear if someone tried it in Karachi. I was planning to try it on Sunday because I wanted to have a ride to a friend's birthday party and wanted to take my phone along with me . Karachiites know the rule .If you travel in Qingqi and buses ,you would be a fool for carrying "bara wala Phone" .

Service is pretty piss poor atm. Tried two rides yesterday. One of them had the driver complaining that he was too far away and after finally agreeing to come, he gets lost on the way a bunch of times and had to be constantly told where to go and ends showing up extremely late. Car was a civic with a busted AC that only cooled like 1 inch of the car. Guy drove like a maniac constantly speeding up and overtaking other cars, almost rear-ended some of them.

Second ride was a little better but the guy kept getting calls for other rides. Apparently Uber doesn't show when the driver is occupied like Careem. In the span of our ride he got like maybe 4-5 requests until the poor guy had to call his superior for help. :p

Both rides were under 300 so I didn't get charged anything. Don't remember exact figures but rates were a little cheaper than Careem but not by much.

Which cars they are using? If its mehran, why should i use uber and not the regular cab?
The ones I got were a Civic and a Corolla.

I read on their website that they only allow 2005+ model years for cars so you should be safe from a lot of old cars.. as for Mehran idk.
