Unboxing the ZX by Creative from there well known series
Sound Blaster recently upgraded to this from Xfi Titanium HD and simply loving it
the sound card is complementing very well with Audio technica Ath m50x http://www.pakgamers.com/forums/f139/unboxing-audiotechnica-ath-m50x-222734/
and gave new dimension to it producing lovely sound the SBX Pro Studio produces like you are in the studio
and listening high quality sound there is a huge difference when turning off this feature i will stop now and
let pictures talking.

Nice. How much? Hehehe!!

Hey, how's this compare with others...? Actually I made a... I don't even know what to call it... strange investment in a Xonar DG/DX just recently. But they told me the SBX doesn't have a lot of components. How's it sound, compared to what you already had?

Oh well it's all good. Hey Pleasant... did you mod your M50x for more bass? I did a quick (very reverse-able) modding on mine. Basically, I had the punch and everything. It's astounding what the M50s are capable off. But I wasn't getting the ear-massage that I get on my other phones so I did something. I opened the cups and unscrewed the little closures over the drivers and removed them. Afterthat, I also removed the poly-fills in the earcups. Now, everything being the same, they are ear-pounding and bit bassheaddy too. See if you can try that sometime. Matter of fact, we gotta meet sometime man. Chillout and stuff. And have a listen to each other's headphones. I just got the Sennheiser HD8 DJs. Man those shits are nice. Let's meetNgreat @Dubai.

@Pleasant

Try cover following

 • Specification
 • Additional features
 • adds-on parts
 • Photography should includes packaging, accessories, product itself. your 5-6 BEST pics Closeups would do great.
 • Sound blaster application, Testing program
 • Use Rating rating system in various performances

try to cover Gaming and Music performances separately.
Also it would be great if you can carried comparative analysis of any predecessor sound card that you own. Helpful for PG community

Thanks for liking the photography the thing actually looks sexy everything has premium feel from packaging to the Volume control / Jog Dial
the Movement is so smooth and has great feel to it they have really worked on that
this thing sounds amazing and complements the headphone really well the drivers are pretty good SBX Pro Studio sounds like Listening Audio in a Studio really happy with the upgrade plus XFI TITANIUM HD had pathetic support with windows 10 it is only good ppl using on windows 7

Congratulations. You got an very good product for an excellent price (2t)

I'm also thinking about getting either Creative Sound Blaster Z or Zx to replace my X-fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro. I was leaning towards Zx as I like the audio control module but then I read on head-fi that the audio control module degrades audio quality for headphones. According to some users headphones sound better when they are connected directly to the sound card compared to when they are connected through the audio control module. Can you please check if that is true by connecting headphones directly to the sound card to see if you can feel any difference in sound quality?

Congrats...u mustve done some research...do tell me if its better than the asus strix cards.. or not
Thanks i read about asus cards and heard very bad reviews about it causing driver issues some reporting humming/buzzing sound
and for specifically strix series these are recently release series and there isnt much reviews up there plus it is not yet available at amazon US
i asked the guys at headfi everyone recommended Creative over Asus because of better driver support than Asus

Nomad i just checked the with Volume control and without it
Yes there is a difference but that is very less i checked the song with FULL VOLUME (full volume is very loud btw)
so when i played the song with controller it was sounding great as it was already
after using directly sound card the difference i felt was quite minute the sound was pinching the Ear Drum with controller the sound wasnt pinching the ear drum
if i would like to tell in percentage i guess it will 5 to 8% difference it is not something like 25% loss after using controller i hope that answers your question if i didnt explain it well let me know
