Is it necessary to install dashlaunch for fsd? (Even when I don't want the console to boot into fsd directly)

it is always better to boot directly into FSD on JTAG xbox 360 by installing dashlaunch, however dashlaunch is not necessary for FSD... you can start FSD from within NXE

How do I get/place the fsd shortcut in the recent game menu? I have xexmenu there, I launch that, then I go to the fsd folder in the hdd and launch fsd's default.xex from there.

there is a software "quickboot" that can make shortcuts for you....but i have not tried it yet as i have dashlaunch...

1. on the back of the xbox where ports are present... if its written 12.1A then its jasper... if its 14.2A then its falcon... same written on its power supply to check whether supply is of jasper or any other..

2. jtag xbox can play games from hdd (internal or external both) using xex loader or freestyle dashboard... so if hard drive is present check for xex loader in your games menu...

I recently tried playing mass effect 3 (2 disc images placed in a two folders disk 1 disk 2 etc) when I try to start the game from either xexmenu or fsd the initial bioware video plays for 5-10 secs and then I get a picture of space and the xbox hangs. All of my other games are working fine GoW Judgment MGRR Crysis3 etc all are working flawlessly. Can anyone tell me what am I missing?
PS: I have a 4gb corona slim, use external hdd to play games.

Guys I have a query regarding TUs. I have a slim 4gb xbox using external hdd for games. I have got FSD (but it's not installed I run it through xexmenu and I don't want to install it either). In the game library I go to a title press Y --> Manage Title Updates --> Download TUs, once that is done I select which one to activate. Is this procedure okay? I tried this with RE6 and the supposed camera change (was supposed to get broader or whatever) didn't happen. I'd appreciate some help.

Finally i copied DOOM on my 360 and its working fine thanks to [MENTION=15222]zisheepk[/MENTION]
But MW3 Map pack didnt work; even after i copied it inside MW3 update folder 00000002 (anybody knows its solution!!!)

And please share good and healthy torrent (or any other source) of COD: Black Ops and any good WEBSITE to download 360 Games and DLCs or their healthy torrents.
