its very clear You can PLAY DIRECTLY VIA USB(even 8gb usb)
I downloaded The Testaments of Sherlock Holmes (7.3gb), put it in usb(8gb), pluged usb in 360 Jtaged console and good to go. Now here's the tutorial how to do that ...
(I copied it from geekbone blogs and a bit modified it to make it more clear)

Requirements
- JTAG-ed XBOX 360
- An external hard drive(USB etc) formatted as FAT32 and not NTFS - Your XBOX 360 can only read drives formatted in this archaic mode.
- FAT32 Format - this is for formatting your large external drive as FAT 32
- 7Zip or WinRAR - to extract the Freestyle Dash files
ISO of your XBOX 360 game of choice (TPB)
- ISO2GOD (well there is also xbox image browser etc and others but i used iso2god, google it to download)
- Freestyle Dash - this was the custom dashboard used by the guys who set my XBOX 360 and external HD up.

Step One - Formatting your external drive
go to my computer>right click you're external hard drive (USB)>format it with FAT32

Step Two- Installing Freestyle Dash on your external hard drive
Open up the FreeStyleDash2.2.1072-TeamFSD.7z file you downloaded (google it to download) and extract all files to the root of your external hard drive.
- Now open up Notepad and copy and paste the following code (Written below in bold) into a blank document then Save As LAUNCH.INI (make sure its file name extension is .INI and not .TXT). Save this file in the root of your external hard drive as well and your FSD is all set. The purpose of this launch.ini file is to tell your JTAG XBOX to load FSD on boot up.

[QuickLaunchButtons]
BUT_X = Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0 DE99990F586558
Default = Usb:\FSD\default.xex
[Settings]
nxemini = true
pingpatch = true

Step Three - Unpacking your XBOX 360 iso
Open up ISO2GOD (download it by searching google) and add the file, you downloaded from torrent or anywhere, to iso2god and convert it. you'll get the converted folder with some code it's youre game. (if cant understand try tutorial for iso2god, anyway it's easy to use)
Now choose the location you want to save your game in. This can be anywhere you fancy but I highly recommend putting it in an appropriately named folder INSIDE the GAMES folder which now sits in your external HD (eg h:\games\Sherlock\) This will start the lengthy extraction process so take a break and come back after a few minutes.(create a folder named GAMES in youre usb and put that converted iso2god folder in GAMES folder in your USB)

Step Four - Loading up your game using Freestyle Dash on your XBOX 360
Plug in your external hard drive to a USB port on your JTAG XBOX360. Your console will now boot up straight into Freestyle Dash.(It takes a while and even says FSD crashed try reloading it and it will play next time) Before you can play your games you need to tell FSD where they should be loaded from.
- From the main screen, choose Settings and then Content Settings and then Game Path
- Select Choose Path and then locate your games folder on your hard drive. Choose USB0, press A, choose GAMES, press A, and then press Y to select this folder.
- Next, press X to save your game path and it should appear on the right pane of the screen.
- Get back to the main menu and choose XBOX 360 Games and you will be taken to the game selection screen where your precious extracted ISOs can finally be enjoyed.

Note: There is a minor glitch where not all the games you have in your Games folder will turn up in the game selection screen. Oddly enough some games find their way in the other menus such as HOMEBREW GAMES/APPS. So simply choose that option from the main menu and you should see your 'missing' games there. If you are finicky like me, you will want to highlight the misplaced games there and press Y for options. Choose MOVE from the menu that pops up and select XBOX 360 Games as the new location and all your lovely games should now be in the main XBOX 360 Games selection screen.

hey can some one help me with this problem ?

When ever I'm in the Frontier randomly it stops loading the world and Connor freezes in position but you can see the wind blowing trees still, this has also happened in a load sequence. I was able to move around between loading but it stuck like it for ever... What's causing this?

thanks

In BLOPS II, there are plenty. More then enough to have a good game. However, I dont think Halo 4 has that many online players, even though I'd rather play it over COD.
Any NOOB friendly tutorial available for Link? A friend would like to install LINK on an RGH'd XBox 360 Slim.

I have a question. I have a slim 4gb jtagged xbox. So far I am using the stock dash and xexmenu to play games. Is it possible for me to carry over my save game files to free style dash? I want to try fsd but don't wanna loose my progress. Any solutions?

Secondly if I don't switch to FSD is there any way I can increase the fan speed in the xexmenu? I don't want to do any hardware mods so is there any app or something that help in increasing fan speed in xexmenu?

Saves remain intact, man. Only the process of launching games change. Like you use XexMenu now but FSD will act like a Dashboard for pirated games. It is really beautiful and well worth a try. XexMenu is crappy IMO and i can't just bear the horrible retail dashboard.

Hmm... okay just to be clear let's say I am playing some game on the xexmenu I have completed 20%, now I switch to FSD continue my progress to 70% and then if I switch back to nxe/xexmenu will I be able to continue from 70%? I know this is a weird question but the main reason I didn't switch to FSD was because I thought my save files will be lost + there was some issue with the dashlaunch when Black Ops2 and hitman were released.
Also I updated my previous post, added another question regarding fan speed changes in xexmenu

To answer you question about Fan Speed. FSD has built-in settings to control fan speed. You can set fan speed easily in FSD by going into the settings menu.

As for the save file thingy. Dude, 360 saves are stored in the same location. It is not like XexMenu saves in a different location. So you can play games using any method without having to worry about keeping the save files or saves. :)

You can even play a game on retail through dashboard and the save will work on XexMenu or FSD. Save file lcoation and process is same for every game on 360.

Excellent, you have been very helpful. Can you please provide me a link on how to install the latest version of fsd? (I don't want the console directly into the fsd m totally okay with launching it once I am in the NXE)
There isn't any problem/harm in connecting the FSD xbox with internet is there? (Although I have disabled connection to xbox live in the settings NXE and I usually don't connect it to the internet) I heard that FSD can update game cover arts?

Can I transfer the FSD into the 4gb memory unit? Or does it have to reside in the connected HDD? (I use an external drive to play games)
All my games are converted using the xbox image browser and are in external hdd\\Games\xyz

If you don't want to use FSD as default dash, you don't really need a guide. It just acts as a sort of program just like XexMenu. I have put FSD in my internal hard drive since i use it as a default dashboard, means it launches when i boot console. Just download FSD and put it in Content/0000000000000000/ folder like usual. You can also launch it through USB device like we launch different applications.

As far as connecting to Live is concerned, you can use FSD + Dashlaunch to make sure you are completely safe from Live. The other way it to use a Live-disabled profile i.e a Profile which has no Live activated and also disable any automatic connections to Live in options.

FSD will download the cover arts etc to its location. So if it is internal, you will miss some couple of MBs due to cover arts. So choose the method that you prefer.

Hmmm...... I have never connected to Live and don't have a live id either. Secondly I have disabled connection to xbox live in the parental settings (NXE), so I guess it is safe to go????
