i am on 182 static IP and pings have jumped from 140 ms EU to 300+ on EU now !

Can`t even watch a stream on twitch at 360p. It was perfectly fine a few days before

Upgraded to 50mbps. Line doesn't support full 100mbps, only around 80.

Can you post your xDsl stats. My line has excellent SNR and 84Mb/s attainable download rate and 48Mb/s upload rate, while I am using 50Mb/s but only getting 20Mb/s download and 12Mb/s upload. The local exchange and internet guys are saying that 50Mb/s isn't supported in my area and I should downgrade back to 20Mb/s

182 routing used to be great, but it's fucked now. EU pings shoot up to around 400 ms at night, which is ridiculous and all games are unplayable.

Thankfully I don't have static IP, so restarting till I get 39.40 (which isn't difficult at all), gets the pings back to normal. 120-140 for EU.

I Can`t wait to throw this thing out of my window since storm fiber has already started laying their infrastructure in my area. I`ll give it a few more days to fix (if it even gets fixed). I`ll get rid of static ip then.

I have very similar stats to yours. And your port is also configured properly. Don't rely on speedtest results. That's just about the only time I got 42mbps. Try a torrent and see what speed you get.

It never goes above 20-21Mb/s no matter the time of the day. Speed stays below 21 Mb/s even on private trackers or FTP transfers from high speed servers using IDM. I have no idea what the problem is and neither do PTCL employees lol. I have contacts in my exchange and most people there know me, they really believe that we cant even go higher than 12Mb/s in my area and some of them didn't even know about the new packages. Contacted them on helpline, live chat, exchange, twitter and FB to no avail. One of these methods usually works but this one is a hard nut to crack.

It's useless because ptclcares will forward to the respective exchange and they have totally no idea about this FAST Path. Same with my exchange.

I have spoken to them and they said that my area will be covered before Ramzan. As soon as its done they will let me know. They were saying if u want to order now u can. But i said let me know when u r ready to give me the connection. They have coverage till GPO chowk right now if u know where iz that.

The VLC app stopped working for me at the start of 2015. I was on ADSL back then. I rang them up and they said they have discontinued the product. Since then, it had only been available here. This web version also stopped working for me later once the Android app came out. Some plugin issue or something.

Be wary of fiberlink. They took full money from customers saying area will be covered soon etc but in fact that wasn't the case and in some cases people's money got stuck for 6-12months even.
