That's your D-Link modem acting up...happens to me too....need to get a new vdsl modem...

But when my modem hangs (I can't even get to its 192... settings page), the internet is disconnected as well.

Itz not the modem then coz i was able to login on modem page and my internet was disconnected.. Did you try the latest firmware? 1.02, mine is on this.. An itz working great coz no one has complained yet at my house lol

Same thing used to happen to me, Initially internet would slow down and then i could not open 192 page :flame:

Updating the firmware resolves slow modem issues, however frequent disconnection is related to SNR margin and Attenuation.
You can check your SNR and Attenuation in your modem.

Can you link me to this latest firmware. Haven't tried this fix yet.

My line stats are great. My attainable rates are 87 Mbps (down) and 35 Mbps (up). So the issue is definitely with the modem. I can try flashing the new firmware on my device and if that doesn't solve it I will first try to get PTCL to replace it, and if the problem persists, get a new third-party router.

Same thing happened with me. Getting 8mb speeds since last two days. Not sure if they'll increase the price as well?

They are good enough, mine are same as well... I am hoping to ger my wire changed tomorrow and will be better than IA
