Actually the D5600 does support the Sandisk 256Gig I purchased. Check attached pic.

So then what was faulty card or camera?

Faulty card, maybe. Because it did work fine initially. Only to get corrupted for no reason later, multiple times. I returned it and got my money back. That Lexar card I purchased worked absolutely wonderful.

I'm in UAE. I trust the product I had purchased. It was original. Just didn't work fine.

No harm done when I got my money back, despite the 1 month delay.

So I have ZERO knowledge about DSLRs or cameras, I just want a good camera. Something which is like a beginner product, something on which I can learn on. I've always taken photographs with my camera and I figured it was time to upgrade. I do know a bit about shutter speed etc but no idea about details. Can anyone give me a recommendation on what to buy? I don't want an expensive camera, just a good beginner camera to fit my needs. I mostly take pictures of my surroundings, places where I go. I love to mess around with shutter speed and exposure, but the result isn't that amazing on my phone(obviously). I messed around with my friend's DSLR, it was a NIkon D600 I guess and I really enjoyed taking pictures with it.

Also, if anyone can redirect me to some page where I can learn about the difference between mirrorless compact cameras and DSLRs or whatever different kinds there are so I can decide on which one is better for me. Suggestions are welcome. Please tell me what should be my budget, again I'm only interested as a hobby but yes, a bang for the buck would be good.

Edit: v a p o r w a v e (@allthesetinycities) • Instagram photos and videos , this is my 'aesthetic' insta(kind of a joke though), I just want better looking pictures, long exposure photography(car lights etc) and it should work as a regular camera too(by regular I mean that it should take good portraits, I guess you can achieve that with interchangeable lens). So as you can see, I'm pretty much a newbie in this so I need help. Thank youuu

Note: My budget at max would be around 40-45k, I would prefer a new camera and night photography is also a requirement. I'd probably not get another lens for now, first learn how to properly use the camera and later I'd venture into the details.
