I was just asking for an estimate as to where it usually lies. Obviously, i'd be asking about previous years. Khair leave it :)

How's your prep going and which papers are you giving this time?
There's no fixed value to that. No need to rely on assumptions like this. Just give the paper your best shot ;)
It depends on the particular paper man..

PM me and we'll talk about the papers lest Blastwave's wave will blast off.

@ Blastwave, can you stop deleting each and every other freaking post that I'm posting?

And *News Flash*, the Chit Chat section is where someone can Rightfully Be off-topic (which wasn't my case, but I'm just saying it as now that I came to think of it) or change the dam sections name at least not to confuse people.
The warnings are clearly posted in the first post and again by me that only apply to this thread NOT the entire chit chat section.

The academic threads are for help and help ONLY. No personal discussion or opinion is allowed.

This applies ONLY to the two academic threads i.e. Studying abroad and this thread and that's that. Strict Moderation. Advice, help and counseling ONLY

You're free to voice your opinion everywhere else in the Chit Chat Cafe. :)

Keep calm and carry on.

Can you tell me what exactly is wrong with sharing your opinions in an academic thread ?

NOT in every academic thread.

This thread and the Applying abroad thread are being kept clear of any personal opinion and trolling because the aim of these threads is to HELP people. One irrelevant comment in a post and it turns into a debate, argument and soon trolling follows.

This was also suggested by Ashhad that these threads be clear of any irrelevant postings.

You are allowed to ask questions, answer questions, seek help, give advice and generally help people.

NO chatting in here.

This only applies to this thread, NOT the entire chit chat section.

Thank you

Those so called academic threads have been made sticky, so make this one too for no further confusion for anyone. And just to say, I only posted once in that Studying Abroad Thread (and you deleted it) but guess what? I went through the whole process and I actually am studying abroad and am willing to help anyone who wants to go through the same procedure and especially who're willing to go to USA, so what better person to ask than me?

After that, I was just seriously unmotivated to post again because of you being this lame.

I've stressed this enough already! I'll take the liberty of repeating it here.

What: Strict Moderation, Nazi level.

Where: The two academic threads, i.e. Studying abroad and O / A levels

WHY: Because we're keeping it extra CLEAN. That applies to everyone!

ONLY in those two threads you are required to participate ONLY if youre helping someone or seeking help.

For everything else you have the entire Chit chat cafe!

Keep calm and carry on.

Dude no one is trying to stop you from posting.your help is welcome....just avoid discussions and opinions because then it will ruin the whole concept of the thread....you can post in the study abroad thread...but only post when someone needs help in applying to the usa :)

Didn't you understand what the hell did I say, or are you blind enough to read it well? How the hell can I type anything knowing that it gets deleted before anyone even laid eyes on it?

I apologize for being a bit rude, but I know the rules enough to know what is OFF-Topic and what isn't. And try to understand what I said above before saying anything to me relating to it.

Ali Man I know you're just trying to help.

And I know just how much you guys hate me for deleting posts in those two threads.

Just two threads that I keep mentioning that will be strictly moderated and Ive mentioned time and time again that posts will be deleted WITHOUT warnings in those two threads.

Just two threads that I'm trying to keep clean on a very high OCD level.

My apologies for the discomfort but right now its necessary. :)

AS is approx 4 times harder than O Level papers.

Don't think that if you have studied Add Maths that normal A Level Maths would be easy for you. A Level maths require you to be HIGHLY practiced. There is no time to think, so you must be so practiced that as soon as you read the question, you begin answering it. There is no time to ponder on the paper. So practice your timing by solving past papers by using a stopwatch.

Also be honest with yourself how proper is your preparation. I know that I did not honestly prepared for Physics in A Levels. Left a whole electricity question and hence got B instead of A in AS.

Looking to improve ofcourse :) IMO A2 seems easier than AS. AS is really really tough.

Firstly, I don't hate people.

Secondly, repeating yourself just for the sake of it is useless, I already know the rules.

And lastly, you're new at moderating, I get that. But you need to learn to:

- Accept your fault (as they say no ones perfect, well not everyone's always right either),
- And learn to read whether a post is really off-topic before making any serious moves of deleting it.

A few of my posts in the help desk section have been off-topic and deleted and I definitely know about it and accept my fault (I don't argue back unnecessarily). But when posts that are not off-topic and get deleted off, now that would of course piss anyone off (especially when it happens more than once and it has in my case). And what a coincidence, they were both done by you. Try to understand what I'm saying here and apology accepted as long as you don't do it again.

Actually Add-Math's is much tougher than AS math's (I've given both). However, A2 math's is a step ahead of both of them. About the answering part, you're definitely right, thinking time max 2 mins after, a person's gotta write whatever they have or skip to the next question.

And A2 is actually harder than just AS because A2 usually also combines the syllabus of AS. However, Business Studies in O'levels is tougher as they're more questions in the O'level paper as compared to the A'level one. To compare, there are around 10 questions in the O'Level's one and around 3 questions but with parts in the A'level one.

Add Maths main time bhot hota hai. I mean I answered 3 questions wrong. And did them 2 more times. And still had 10 minutes at the end to review the paper. In P1 and M1, the time is so less that you just can't think at all. You just need to answer quickly.

AS Maths is indeed easy, but the paper in terms of timing is very difficult compared to Add Maths.

And if you haven't given Add Maths in O Levels, then aap k laalay lag gye :p

The timing thing is true, Add-Math's main there's plenty of time to complete the work, review it and then waste some time after that :p P1, M1 are too tight in their timings.

I started doodling after giving Add Maths paper :p Billi bana di thee paper per lol.

Point being there is 1.5x more time in O Lvl papers compared to A Lvl papers.

You have time to think in O Lvl papers.
You don't have time to think in A Lvl papers, especially Maths and GP.
