I have POCO X3 NFC. Can it be enabled on my handset as well? What's the procedure?
Insert your phone in a samsung phone (temporarily) and dial Jazz help line. Ask them to enable VoLTE on your device. tell them your device name (samsung) if they ask. once enabled insert back your sim in POCO X3 NFC and dial * # * # 86583 # * # * it will show "VoLTE carrier check was disabled" text. Than go to settings>sim cards & mobile networks> Jazz and enable Use VoLTE. check if VoLTE icon appears alongside signals.
Umm... how did you guys get it working on your Poco phones?
Jazz has started providing VoLTE settings to chipset manufacturers as well. Latest snapdragon chipsets has Jazz VoLTE support irrespect of the mobile manufacturer. POCO or Xiaomi phones with snapdragon 860, 865, 870 and 888 supports Jazz VoLTE I have personally checked. Reports are that latest Dimensity chipsets of Mediatek also supports Jazz VoLTE.
I have experienced another thing, From Jazz VoLTE If I call to any Jazz or Telenor number it shows HD sign, no matter next person has VoLTE, 3G or simple 2G phone, it shows HD sign. But HD sign does not appear on Zong and Ufone even if sim is in 4G smartphone. that means Jazz and Telenor has upgraded their network which Zong and Ufone have not. Very disappointing from Zong.
