Totally depends on your usage and budget, I use Jazz Rs2000 package with 100gb (50 1AM-1PM) and due to carry forward I have 250gb data still left, probably Zong has started to carry forward aswell but I cant confirm that as not uaing Zong since quite a time.
Let me confirm if Zong offers carry forward facility, else I'll stick ti Jazz.

Just try plugging your charji cloud in your router with cable it might just work and if speed is right keep using charji.
I'm afraid that'd result in battery degradation, many people advised me to keep the device plugged in but I chose not to for this reason.

@smaaz is it any zong or jazz device which supports 4G+.

mean not support 4G+
Yes bro that what I said all are only CAT 4 speeds capable.

Market is flooded with charji devices as most of them are not unlockable and ptcl has launched over a dozen different models. Therefore you can get them very cheap for 1200-1500 range.

While Mobilink has started going down the gutter (they're not as fast as they used to be, and I have to toggle airplane mode as well), Zong has been asked to vacate the illegal squatting of spectrum:

PTA said:
This essentially means that the assignment of additional spectrum in 1800 MHz to CMPak Ltd was only to be remained available till 22nd October, 2019.
So... PTA has fixed the spectrum interference problem ZONG was having? 🤣😇

Absolutely not. PTA and FAB going to face some embarrassment in court.
Unless PTA told Zong they're supposed to renew that part of the spectrum, I don't think PTA will face any embarassment.

FAB/PTA, however, should have done something. But then, it's a possibility that Zong was abusing this spectrum and using it everywhere (and not just at the affected areas). The article doesn't say so (otherwise no PR articles for ProPK, perhaps?)

Picked up a Zong 4G Bolt+ device today. It's a Huawei E5576-855 MBB.

Quite unfortunate that Zong isn't offering better devices that support Cat6 LTE and Dual-Band WiFi. They don't even offer the ones with external antenna ports anymore.

I bought it from the Blue Area Zong CSC and was testing it all around Islamabad, quite pathetic, with speeds struggling to go above 7-8 Mbps regardless of which speedtest server was selected. Jazz (on a phone, not MBB) was outperforming it pretty much everywhere.

I got back home and decided to remove the Zong SIM from the MBB and test it in my phone since Zong has 4G+ in some areas as well. It immediately connected to 4G+ and Service Mode showed B3 (20 MHz) + B1 (10 MHz). I ran a speedtest while the signal was fluctuating around -85 to -95 dBm and it was consistently giving 70+ Mbps.

Jazz in the same location wasn't going over 30 Mbps. I put the SIM back in the MBB and ran the test again, and now Zong was down to 11 Mbps. It's amazing how much of a difference carrier-aggregation made.

Zong and Jazz really need to introduce better MBB devices with support for at least 3xCA, 256-QAM and Dual-Band WiFi.

Agreed but such devices are very expensive, Zong has been providing same old 150mbps CAT4 devices since 5 years now and quality has seriously gone down, old devices came with antenna ports and I personally checked at my village antenna does give boost in speeds and signals, that is the reason used old unlocked devices are being sold at much higher price not just locally but internationally as well. Ali express/ebay is full of Zong/telenor devices.

I found Jazz device better despite being from some unknown brand probably ZTE because of the battery life, gives double what Zong devices can manage.

Jazz device at remote location of Bahawalpur (15km from city on highway)

More tests on Zong 4G+ with Xperia 1. Signal was around -75 dBm. 20 MHz B3 + 10 MHz B1 aggregated. Not sure if they are using 256-QAM like Jazz.

Jazz in the same location.....
