@Fkhan Yes I've seen "My Left Foot". It was a DDL masterpiece although the movie itself fell short by some margin imo.
His best ever role was Daniel Plainview in "There Will Be Blood". I've never witnessed such brilliance by an actor.
Daniel Day Lewis is the most remarkable actor of our times. The guy has a habit of getting lost in his roles. Spending months in preparation for them and going so far as to staying in character even when he's off the set sometimes. Must be a horrible person to live with but as an actor I doubt there's any better. Maybe Deniro in his prime.

My favourite DDL role is Bill the Butcher from Gangs of New York.

An unforgettable role in an unforgettable film. That Scorsese-DDL 1-2 punch was a bit too overwhelming for me. I felt that the Daniel Plainview was more of an extension of the butcher instead a unique role in itself.

Saw the trailer of Life of Pi. It really looked a Visually amazing movie. But i heard it is a musical, no?

What gave you that idea :|
I think you're confusing it with Les Miserables, the only big musical that's coming out this year (and potential lead awards contender).

^^ true actors lose their real personalities in the long run... they become what the role demands... just goes to show that the best and worst is in all of us...

TALAASH:
Its a rare Indian film that could have been a masterpiece with just a little more effort... I was shocked cause was not planning on watching this but my friend took me with them... Starts really good with multiple storylines then gets dull in the middle but when you watch it till the end it leaves a mark which is something 'The Sixth Sense' left on me when I first watched it without knowing anything about it... So do watch it if you like psychological thrillers... I will give it 8.5/10 (keep aside your prejudice and do watch it)

rarely say this about indian movies but this one had a good compelling storyline, comeback of sridevi after a long long time is pretty neat aswell. she definately proved to all those new comers, she still got it.

stash house: 6/10
for time pass i'd say, at starting it was good but last quarter was kind of dragging but still OK thrill to it.

Nah you cant blame the guy coz Clarkson considers EVERY 911 to be just a volkswagen with running shoes :p

serves you right man who told you to watch that sh*t??

Pitch Perfect (2012):

Been meaning to watch this since its trailer introduced me to DGs Titanium! :)... sadly that was the only best part in the entire movie,,, well that and Anna Kendrick who I just adore for some reason... maybe its that quick/snippety way of talking. Anyways if youre a fan of Ms. Kendric then its recommended else steer clear. 5/10 from m side.

Bourne Legacy

This movie turned out to be pretty entertaining flick. It was nowhere the level of the previous movies but it was fun to watch. The biggest flaw with this movie is the story. It is a big dud. The action is pretty good though.

These actors have it pretty damn tough. I mean Jeremy runner had to swim underwater, all naked, in extremely cold weather. I shrug to think how hard it is to be a Hollywood action hero.

As for the acting, it is passable. Rachael Weisz is still beautiful but she is becoming a 'Auntie' now. She was not suited for this role IMO but so was Renner. They should've casted a young male lead. Renner is in his 40s now.

Rating 6.5/10

Bourne Legacy: Dumb action (aside from few kix and 1 vehicle stunt) , dumber plot/story (all d way) and dumbest villian (wait a sec, umm , there was no villian persona exactly) , just ruined the good name of bourne

Music was great, and so was the acting. Has some similarities with 'Scott Pilgrim vs The World'
Overall, a good one. Recommended to all, especially music fans

That is a million dollar performance right there from Daniel-Day Lewis. One of the greatest actors of all time, he is for sure
