Yes i m using ZONG employee package. No there is no any FUP in employee package through out Pakistan including Karachi. Speed don't get throttled if you download over 10 GB. As myself downloaded about 50GB from ZONG employee package and yet i m getting speed around 8 - 14 Mbps.

So I went to buy a D802 32GB. I checked around 8 devices, all of them 32 GB. NONE of them were able to connect via LTE (I'm using Zong). All of them were able to switch to 3G though. I decided to try a 16 GB one which was going for 29k (was almost new). It was able to switch to LTE almost instantly.

The shopkeepers were insistent that ONLY the 16GB version can connect via LTE because the 32GB version doesn't support the 1800MHz band (lol).

Sab dramay hain yaar Shopkeepers ke. LOL. If a phone couldn't connect to LTE it probably be a LS980 running 802 Rom on top!

Install CloudyG2 2.2 , Its a stock based G3 4.4.2 Rom. You can select manual settings even for 2G :). So you'll be good to go.

Note : Don't install AOSP based roms on G2. Battery life will get reduced drastically.

So I got a D802. LTE is working but whenever I have to make a call it shifts to 3G and remains on 3G until I'm done making the call. Also when I receive a call It behaves the same way. I have set up zongapn to get the LTE to work. If I switch to LTE only, then I use LTE internet but can't make calls. Any ideas?

that is because LTE doesnot support GSM voice calls. only way for the phone to call is to first switch to 2G or 3G. VoLTE (voice over LTE) has to be deployed by the network for voice calls over LTE which only few networks in the world have deployed. obviously zong and warid are not among those networks but might be in future.
