Yeah, Polygon having an issue with female representation in games is nothing new. Instead of saying 'stop using violence to sell your games', it says 'stop using violence against women to sell your game'. I laughed at the Xmen Apocalypse poster example though lol. Funny thing is, the trailer wasn't even THAT violent in the realm of video games. But since it happened in a trailer which millions saw, the author got triggered.

Another surprise trailer/gameplay reveal at PSX ?

Was expecting some good stuff considering the reactions its getting but that was barely gore. Of course Polygon's clutching its pearls, "oh how could they do this to poor womens, but womens are definitely equal to men. Just keep the gore limited to faceless white dudes, but then your game perpetuates toxic masculinity"

The real topic we should be discussing is are those fucking arms. Holy fuck, bro! Does she lift or what? I mean yeah Darwinism and all, especially in post apocalyptic worlds but this is pushing even that. This is "I snort creatine in the morning and shoot steroids directly to my heart at lunch" kind of swole. Fuck, and this is like at least 40 years into the infected breakout. So she did this without whey protein shakes. Seriously, this looks retarded and I love it. Hope she's a main playable character.

Man, I hope we don't get to play as Joel. What is a "in his mid-60s" old man gonna do in a post apocalyptic world? We're gonna be scavenging for adult diapers for his old ass if he doesn't die before the first half.

I'm kind of wondering where they'll take the story. The story revolved around Joel and Ellie 'cause of the possibility of a cure/vaccine. I'm sure they won't tread that story again so I wonder how she-hulk is gonna get involved with Ellie and Joel. They might end up in this skirmish with the cult in the trailer. There's no more hope for salvation like in the first game, just dealing with the psychos and infected.

TLoU 2 is roughly 50~60% in development and it's confirmed to have a big on-stage presence at next E3 (likely that's where we'll see first game play).

Also .. definitely not releasing in 2018.

During a live panel form PlayStation Experience in Anaheim, California, Naughty Dog provided more information about the upcoming The Last of Us Part II.Game Director Neil Druckmann, Co-Writer Halley Gross, and the voices of Ellie and Joel Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker were on stage from the beginning of the panel; Druckmann kicked the dance off by mentioning that “no one is safe” in The Last of Us Part II, and that includes Ellie and Joel themselves.Actually, before that Johnson and Baker performed a very special song, that you can check out below (courtesy of YouYube user MathChief).

Abso-f*cking-lutely loved the E3 demo. Improved gameplay, action sequences, fantastic atmosphere and lively characters. Quite hopeful now that LoU II is going to be as great as LoU, if not better. I feel like playing that demo but that's too much to ask for at this point I guess. Hype!

I loved that there so much interaction between even the random enemies; they were calling each other by their names.

Hiding under cars is something you barely see in videogames, I'm not saying it's some amazing feature but it shows how attentive ND is to detail. It's little things like those that help with the immersion.

Literally had chills when the trailer ended.
