It's very hard to tell the first game that I fell in love with. These are all old school games that I fell in love with: Paranoid (by The Bit Bucket Brothers), Road Rash, Dangerous Dave, Home Alone, Moto Racer & NF2.
There are a lot more that I cannot remember but these games made my childhood amazing.

Megaman X4. One of the first games I played on PC. One that resulted in my grades dropping drastically. :hah:
NFS II: SE was pretty big for me too. Fondly remember going into cockpit mode and pretending like I was driving an actual car.

River raid for atari 2600 in 1982. Was an eight year old back then and controlling anything on TV was mind blowing at the time.

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.
