lan party kay liyay teknogods try kero they have dedicated servers for lan but in altermw3 you have to have a internet connection you need to have a login and pass from the alteriw.net forum this is essential
http://altermw3.net/ they are also trying to get cod elite type features.
just wondering if stats are server side have teknogods changed that...
abobo in the previous thread said he wasnt expecting mw3 mod he was quite rite...if teknogods hadnt gone for lan support altermw3 wouldnt have been started so soon

yeh tried tekno release... can see each other on servers and everything.... BUT can't connect fffffuuuuuu.****!!!! tried every trick in the book (and on the web), you cannot imagine the disappointment we had t face!

im assuming you tried the 2.3 version and it didnt work-out chalo lets see i havent even tried spec ops with a friend khudi sare kerleyay except for the two player ones if i get it working ill post

i think eveyone is in college/university/job or no one wants to put out their alteriw.net ids

First, thanks a lot for making this thread <3. Second, can someone help me with the download speed of the MP Rip only? I have a 4mbps connection and this speed is, well...it's just sh*t. 0.3 kbps ? Third NecroKiller, Yes just download it the MP only rip and it will work, I've done it with MW2 and Blops. I think you'll be able to find an alternate download maybe on TPB cause I did see some, but haven't tried 'em cause I'm not sure if they work.

okay both of you get valve's steam and go to tools and right click mw3 dedicated server and install the mp rip hope it help enjoy steam speeds that why its not well seeded....
havent personally tried it but it should work get to it ranger!!!

Don't worry I'll be posting my nick soon ..We are usually 2-3 cousins along 3-4 friends that will play MW3..

After downloading the AlterMW3-RIP (Multiplayer Only)you have to follow the third part i:e,

3) AlterMW3-RIP (8.91 GB)

• Run ‘install.bat’ as ADMINISTRATOR. This will install all the needs and update from alterMW3.·
• Run ‘alterMW3.exe’ as ADMINISTRATOR and login with your alteriw.net account to play!

Note that 'install.bat' will already be in the downloaded torrent.

Sadly no other trackers have this torrent..Even Bitgamer doesn't have it

TPB has the working torrent but the health is worse...That's why I said to add seeders from both the trackers...

I had the SHIELD version of the game, I only had to run that app that they've put up on their site. It downloaded a few updates and then I could login to the MP using my forum accountname and password. It was extremely simple. So far I've gotten decent lobbies, ping is usually over 200 but doesn't feel like it.Pretty good for an alpha build I'd say.

If you already have the FULL version (i.e. NOT ripped version) then you only need to download that small .zip package from AlterMW3, which includes the updater. Run it, and it'll download the necessary files. It'll only take a minute or two max.
You'll have to use your AlterIW.Net forum account/login to be able to play the game. (just like it was in AlterOps)

about the torrent i doubt anyone would seed it cause the steam version is way faster and hassle free...
i have the steam version which was put up before the release

another thing when you invite someone there is no message pop up for invitation or any hint that you are invited you need to go and right click over there name to see the join button....this suck but if we play local we get better ping
+200 ping is okay you woulnt know what you miss out on until you play under 150
also guys go to vault and theater to enjoy your crazy flukeshots....im sorry Proshots

link is altermw3.net but this doesnt matter if the server is down most probably you wont get to start the game however the error in-game which say that the servers are down is either a glitch or the servers are down but momentarily....
(i got dropped out of a game stared at that same message finally got in to see being connected to the same guys who just finished there game) nevertheless its happening to everybody heres an interesting thing in mw3 match making the host had the lost ping around 20 to 50 havent seen anyone like this here
