Street Fighter V - Online Pakistani Gamers

FWIW, I got 2 bars when I got matchmaking with an Indian. France and some Europeean counties are working the best so far. I have no idea why @jibrangulabbasi had issues with local matches because my experience, atleast with friends, has been smooth so far.

SFV server twitter account says that they are still improving matchmaking and they just released a major update for it like 4-5 hours ago so maybe it will get fixed in due time. I only play online using battle lounges so far and the experience there is great unless the Ping is just 1 bar.

Man! For me, this has been a horrible online experience - across all Ranked, Casual, and Battle Lounges. Not been able to find a single online game since launch on PC. I am talking about Battle Lounge because matchmaking has been all but shit for me =/

But net code has worked great so far, which basically confirms that the issue is not my connection but the matchmaking code of Capcom. The best matchmaking for me was in Beta 3 or 4. I got into matches even in Beta 1 after they updated it a few times. No idea what happened now.

The region flag of the user doesn't matter in matchmaking. I have tried to use another profile with France flag and had no luck.

i havent played lounges instead of paki bretheren are lobbies with euro people smooth?from what i understand in ranks that setting where u can choose 2-5,3-5,4-5 and 5 bars doesnt work. ranks forcefully puts u against people with 5 bars

I was getting consistent matches before but right now, it's decreased. Apparently, it's because they've fixed the skill-based matchmaking so you're going to get matched with people close to your current lvl/LP.

ive got a funny/sad story of tonight i figured my main id had some problem with unbelieveable matchups and bullshit so i made a new id on my american psn account with a british flag(not that it matters ur still matched with arbis) got super instant matches on that id went on a 9 winning streak with around 590 lp mind you i have not seen a single laggy match in my 200+ rank games then came my first pakistani vs match against someone named chaos and holy hell no wonder why we dont get matched i was on a 9 win streak and i cudnt even move my character the entire match it was literally teleporting from 1 place to other with some extremely weird frame cuts and bullshit lost miserably lost 40 lp and gave him 70+

Hahahahaha, you do understand that it was as laggy for me too, yea? Besides that was my first ranked match ever and you were spamming jump hK and sweep with Nash. That was easy enough to punish even with the lag. Way to exaggerate though and 200+ ranked matches? Not 47? jibran2 has 13 ranked matches while jibran has 34.

EDIT: More info. I played with my friend in Islamabad using battle lounge + another guy named RanaZaim from Pak in two ranked matches and it was flawless. EU matches have been the same way. Did have a laggy match with a Rashid from US.

Anyways, I know I'm not helping my case being the new guy but any advice on getting matches? Played 5 ranked matches total and stuck on the 5 win streak. Matchmaking takes upto 30mins and sometimes no match for hours. Battle Lounge has been working fine though. PTCL here. When games do connect, it's nearly always flawless so I doubt that's the issue.

Also, since this keeps popping up, changing flags or account region doesn't change anything, I tried a UK ID too, no dice.

Wow. You have been getting matches in Islamabad and on PTCL!? What time are you playing!? On PC or PS4? I have been trying to get matches since launch and have got nothing! zilch! zero! nada! Only able to play lounges.

na karein sir jee ive had multiple id resets since launch i had the game 4/5 days before made shit tons of ids with differnt flags and they kept resetting ids for fair server launch hell i even used to stream for dasti and irontriggor before launch when matchmaking was quick, that answers the 200+ ranks i wasnt spamming jump hk i was mostly amazed at teleportation and laughing what was going on , not taking anything from you in that game ,ive played with ptcl people too it was smooth as hell in lounges so pata nai at that time one of us was downloading porn so maybe thats why its laggy, i tried to get a match last night it took around 9 minutes which is unacceptable and the worst part is it got dced as soon as the match started they made matchmaking even more retarted since yesterday
