Streaming box recommendation

Firestick you have to sideload apps like youtube/netflix etc, plus no USB port so no mini keyboard/air mouse OR USB playback. Also if you lost remote forget it its useless. I have normal firestick lying around and is useless without remote.
Mi Box S has 1 USB port so you can hook external drive/USB.
Yes supported but not available in our region, I couldnt get to play even free content,if there is any work around I dont know about it.

But I heard Mi box S is laggy and has limited storage.
Or suggest any other good android tv box for Netflix.

Not sure if it matters but I'm currently using my Zbox mini pc to dual boot both windows and android( Phoenix Os). Runs android 5.1.1 quite smoothly. So far have used youtube & ptcl smart tv on it successfully. Because this OS is catered to be used as a desktop replacement, the user experience is quite good so far. It also shows my hdd drives so I can access its contents as well.
I dont have Mi box S, you can search youtube for reviews and feedback. firestick also has 8gb storage, for a streaming box storage dosnt matter that much. I can only tell about firestick 2nd gen (1080p) and its fine for youtube and netflix but its skin is custom amazon and every app has to be sideloaded or used downloader app.
Even cheap chinese x96 box for 3k can run netflix and youtube with ease if that is the only requirement.
I have the older Mibox which doesn't have 4k Chromecast. I can tell you that it is not laggy at all. It runs absolutely smooth. I watch Netflix on it, no problem at all. Also, why do you need the storage? If you want to download a video you'll have to do on your mobile/pc - Android TV is not well suited for such stuff, no matter which Android box you have. It is suited for Youtube, Netflix, etc., not downloading.
There is one issue that I have faced with Mibox: The bluetooth is problematic. For no reason, my bluetooth speaker would start stuttering, or when I connect the bluetooth, the video quality will drop.
Please recommend any good box for watching Netflix.
Regarding storage , the reason was to download some games from play store so that kids can enjoy too.

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.
