We should all make a complaint to PTA regarding recent double nat switching.
All other companies including ptcl are on single nat.
Torrenting no upload at all.

PTA can't do anything. CG-NAT isn't illegal, nor is it some desi jugaar that only Pakistani ISPs do.

It's something used across the world to combat the shortage of IPv4 addresses. Yes, it's very annoying to deal with, but that's how it is.

StormFiber is expanding rapidly, just like Nayatel and it was only a matter of time before they switched to CGNAT since they couldn't give everyone a real public IP.

Is anyone using 2 HD TV Boxes on single StormFiber connection. How they set it up as there is only one TV out point on their Huawei device.

Their HD Boxes have input and output ports. So they are connected in a daisy chain. Output from first box is connected to the input of second and output of second to the third.

All big ISPs have support for it, but even with IPv6 there are complications.
Depends how it's implemented.

Biggest hurdle however is migration. Majority of internet users are not very tech savvy, neither are the support agents who will be helping people out when they run into issues. With FTTH, most config can be done remotely by the ISP, but in the case of PTCL and all their DSL customers, I don't even want to think about it.

Anyone experiencing high pings on local speedtests.
My internet was disconnected in morning for an hour or 2 and now i am getting 97 ms ping to lahore servers in which i used to get 1-2ms. consistent ping rise across other servers as well.

they installed new connection at my house yesterday but i can't even stream cricket match on a !0 mb connection. downloading speeds on IDM and on speedtest are perfectly fine.

Does anyone know if getting a static IP could possibly change my routing to some servers? Recently I've been getting higher pings on SGP and UAE servers and substantially lower pings on EU servers. I would like the opposite to happen. If anyone is using stormfiber with a static IP, please help me out.

IPTV or HD box for TV? They don't offer IPTV i think as far as I know. As for HD box, it's a completely different setup, they are are providing digital channels with full 1080p quality. Doesn't use your internet bandwidth. Totally worth your money. Go for it.

I am also planning to install StromFiber 10mb connection but before I like to know the experience of people regarding the online gaming for games like Fornite, PUBG, CS-GO and Rainbow Seige Six etc?

1)What is the minimum and average Ping you get? Is their any packet loss too?
2) Is their any issue faced to connect to different gaming server from PC?
3) Connecting and playing PS4 and Xbox online/Multiplayer experience?

Also share your Netflix experience for watching full HD movies/shows?

Anyone has any idea why UAE Pings are messedup and we are getting 180ms instead of 50-60ms since yesterday. Same is the case with PTCL and Nayatel whoever is using PIE Route.
