Hi,

My StormFiber Connection has been installed and will become Active Tomorrow anytime. I opted for the highest speed which is 15-30Mb (Day and Night cycle 12 hourly).

I shifted from Transworld Fiber optic so I have a great benchmark for Stormfiber and the first thing I want to do is to Ping eu.battle.net which is the StarCraft II or blizzard server to find out the efficiency of my connection. The next thing would be speedtest , ping test etc.

I think it would be Great.There modem is really cool with a router and everything in a single box.

I can help you with any queries you have. Do post them and I will try to answer them .

I am in Block 7 Clifton and I paid them 6700 monthly for 30 mb connection which is 15mb half of the day.

the first thing you will notice is that unlike transworld the uplink with storm fiber is capped to 5mbps which kinda sucks ... my first priority for my house would be transworld just because of that since they give 20/20 connection, storm customer service is simply amazing

Congratz on getting the connection installed. After it's been setup and working OK plz post a few pings.

Hmm will surely do.

So the upload is 5mb , lets see but I guess its completely fine for any online game I would play so wont be any issue and Yes I would like to say StormFiber customer support is amazing as Baqai said.

I have been using Transworld for almost a year now its was great but very expensive I used to pay them 28,000 for 1.5 mb connection CIR. The connection was good but 1.5 was giving me problems since stuff is getting bigger and bigger so finally when Sfiber showed up I had to switch. For me its a lot cheaper since I was used to paying 28000 per month. So coming to transworld very good, very expensive but there Customer support was not that good .

When you said you switched from transworld to Stormfiber I was very surprized. But then you mentioned Clifton and CIR connection and that explained a lot. I hope transworld expands beyond Phase VI because the speed at their price is the best out of all the ISPs

you guys need to check out Optix fiber as well. I am using it since last 5 months and their services are good in terms of reliability, support and speed. i opted their 10 Mbps package and they give me three months free boost speed of 20 Mbps for whole day. you can check their package on Optix.

Are you a "bot" hired by Optix to copy paste the same stuff in every thread on this and maybe other forums? Just 4 posts no introduction no nothing just a link to optix website.

Do post your Tracert for eu.battle.net and europe.battle.net . Just go to CMD and enter Tracert and address. Moreover apart from tracert do directly ping them and let us know what you get.

Secondly if you can post your ping test here .

can u share what pings you are getting on say, Battlefield servers? if u dont play bf4, u just need to download origin and check pings on battlelog,

can u share what pings are u getting on Battlefield 4 servers? if u dont play it, just download origin and check pings on Battlelog. do share cause im also thinking about Stormfiber everyone is praising it

I got it installed half an hour ago.

Just ran speed test. Giving 30mb down and its true its 5 MB upload.

Just finished with checking a lot of stuff. Net Flix works very easily on 1080 p but IN FACT its working on 2160 very very smoothly. There are a lot of 4K seasonal dramas on Netflix asia on which I checked it says 2160 res and that's 4K.

seems pretty good but I cant ping anything its blocked from StormFiber. I went on ping test but I am using win 10 and its says I don't have Java so I cant run the packet test and that's affecting my Connection grade . Anyone knows how to get Java with win 10 ?

Lastly I don't have any game right now on my computer to check in game pings so I am gonna download world of Warcraft whole night so maybe in the morning I can play and tell you in game pings.

dont worry we have tested 4k on 10/20 mbps package of storm fiber and it works fine, it takes couple of seconds to scale upto 4k but it runs smoothly

btw, Battlefield 4 does not need any game installed as far as i know. u just need to download and install origin which is like ~50Mb then just go to battlelog and check ping. it would take less than 2 mins :cantspeak:
