The Huawei GPON router that comes with SF, doesn't seem to have a QoS or bandwidth control?

Most ISP supplied garbage doesn't come with features like that, and even if they did, the ISP can choose to hide those options from the user. Huawei gives ISPs a lot of customisation on what can and can not be changed by the customer.

So, my internet connection upgraded. I have National Broadband (Backed by Cybernet) and here is the speed test result. Price is same, i.e Rs. 1000/- inc taxes

Aoa, long time stormfiber user. Recently ran into "Strict Nat' issue in destiny 2. Cant even seem to login into it and whenever it does login, it'll dc in a minute. tried forwarding ports on the main router and adding inbound/outbound firewall rules in windows but still Nat is strict and not even moderate. Any suggestions guys. much appreciated thanx,
It has been mentioned many times on this forum.
StormFiber uses carrier grade NAT which means they are assigning you a private IP, and then the ONT is assigning private IPs to the devices within your network, essentially creating a double NAT setup.
Port forwarding / DMZ can not help you in this case.
You'll have to message or email StormFiber and ask them for a public IP if they offer it. Tell them you need it for gaming. If they still have any left, they will put you on the public IP pool, after which most P2P games will work normally.
Hi, my usage normally is youtube, mobile online games (clash royale), torrents sometime. Will this double NAT be a problem for me? Clash royale is an online game and connects to server.
there won’t be any problem .i get this double Nat thingy message all the time on my Xbox while using multiplayer games .never got into any problem .

Tested USA server. Speed is same. Ping got higher
Please share more details about National Broadband, do they offer TV as well? I cant find prices on their website. I am living in Lahore, Q block Johar town.
Sent them an emailr regarding the issue and now my NAT is moderate, before it was strict. the game is playable now.
I never use my ISP's DNS, even if they fallback to Google's. Always manually enter Google or OpenDNS.
