Yeap they messedup the routing once again. Stormfiber has become the new PTCL now tbh. Used to get 60ms to the above mentioned server like a week back and now ping is around 300ms.

Yes you can. But the Channels would SD and i think only 68 or 70 channels.

The middle East i3d.net battlefield 5 server ping has gone down from 260-270 to 160s,which still isn't good enough considering it stayed around the 40s a few weeks back. Plus has anyone noticed ping spikes from 11-12:30 at night.

Slow Speed?

Anybody experiencing slow speeds for everything else except for mabye youtube/ netflix(local CDN, so they dont count.)

Meeee! Havent been able to stream anything and have been experiencing slow speeds for the past few days. Plus i3d ping has gone up as well. I pray all this is temporary. Stormfiber has been really reliable otherwise.

Yes, League of legends ping goes from usual 138 ish to 220+ between 11-12:30 almost everyday.

Thats a BIG YES from me aswell. Getting 2-5Mbps on 20Mbps connection. uploads are fine though,,register a complaint lets see how and when they resolve this issue. Its been almost a year since I've been using their services and uptill had no issue. I just hope them expanding rapidly doesnt have a toll on the existing customers.

THANKS !. I have the same exact issue. only getting 1-3 mbps on 10 mbps but uploads are totally fine. youtube works at full speed for me . Twitch has been painfully slow and i cant even stream videos at 160p. Issue started around 10 or 11 April for me i think.

Also, if you do a speedtest for nexlink or ylink server lahore( in which we get <5 ms) then download are fine , but if we do a speedtest with PTCL server i get like 3.5 MB download speed.

Same slow speed issues being faced by me in cavalry lahore. Its been 2 months that there speed is slow. on a 20mb package i get 8mb and when i call there help line they do some magic trick and speed suddenly improves. I guess they have expanded too quickly and have not got required bandwidth to support the customer base

Can u elaborate on where do u get the 8 mb?
Because on international servers i am getting 0.4 mbps download (singtel singapore) and 10mbps upload(normal).
My guess is they are throttling my down speeds.

The battlefield 5 i3d.net middle East server seem to be back to normal. Getting 35 ping on those. I didn't notice any ping spikes last night I'd check it out tonight again. So pings are back to normal hopefully.

I got a TP-Link Wireless N Router WR845N to use it as a range extender to my stormfiber wifi..the setup was quite easy but i cant seem to see the device connected to tplink on my pc that i connected to stormfiber device directly. i can access the tplink device page from my main pc (connected to stormfiber wifi) but not the pc's connected to tplink.. do i need some manual ip config to do here? pls help

Trouble getting a connection

Has anyone been facing trouble in getting a connection lately? I had put a request on 2nd april for a connection in A1 block,Johar Town. It has been 20 days and their representatives have been telling me they will receive the payment in person whereas the support guys on their facebook tell me that I have to submit the payment through a bank. Really confused right now. 2 years earlier I had it installed in just 24 hours and the reps themselves collected the payment from me.

I'm having problems with the TV. For about a month some channels were blank while others had stuttering/pixelating issue although the signal strength % was good like before. So i used the search option everyday or two hoping to get the channels fixed until recently, like 3-4 days, its unable to search a single TV channel. My internet is working fine.
I've used stormfiber for a year and a half and never faced such issues. Does anyone have the same problem ?

Update: My fiber cable was bent at a point and hence a low Rx reading. Straightening the cable fixed the problem.

How are the values of Rx optical power and CATV Rx power? They are outside the reference range. My internet and tv are working fine.
