They're selectively breeding a high meta score at launch so they can have the "accolades" trailer out 3 days after release.

Most outlets will be buying the game at launch and will need more time to have a review out.

This is an area where I expected the game to shine, literally, given the quality of the six-year-old Final Fantasy 15 but, in fact, Forspoken is a gigantic leap backwards - at least in terms of execution.

The issue is that the internal resolution from which FSR2 works is often quite low. The internal resolution scales to a minimum of 50 percent on each axis which means performance mode, which targets 1440p via FSR2, can dip as low as 720p.

I'd still avoid quality mode at 120Hz though - not even VRR can save the day here, it just winds up feeling jerky and sluggish.

Poor lighting, "gigantic leap backwards from FF15", poor performance in all modes, VRR is useless..

Wow. Didn't expect the story to be the worst aspect of this game! I was hoping it to be somewhat decent since this is from the makers of FF 15!

Also, FF 15 was technically superior to this shit too, lulz.

First half of every console cycle is underutilized. Current gen only games will start in full swing maybe Fall this year but definitely next year. Tail end struggles to keep up and begs for new gen. Bas 3-4 saal hi hote hain consoles ke where potential is properly realised.

PlayStation PC port games are a pain in the neck to play.

I had to restart PS3 and PS4 port games - Uncharted 4, Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2, and XIII Lightening Returns - multiple times as they stopped in the middle of a game without any apparent reason.
This is despite the fact I have 8 GB video card with the specs that exceed the recommended processor with i7 12th gen 10+ cores.

If you are playing a PS port, I think it is better to pirate the game due to sloppy job by the devs in porting. If they kick you, kick them back, I say.

I mean, the Series X has quicker loading than the PS5 in a few games despite having much slower IO throughput. Really depends on the developer's implementation. Not expecting anything from Luminous Productions in the first place

This isn't a PS PC game. Ironically, Sony is developing some of the best PC versions alongside MS with the likes of Coalition/Playground Games, and most recently Tango with Hi-Fi Rush.

Forspoken is a disaster on every level, technical and gameplay wise. This studio makes good engine tech demos but that's about it.
